What a crazy world we live in!
If you make a stand and say, “Hey, this is right and this is wrong,” or “Jesus is the truth,” you are immediately branded as a bigot. You are intolerant. You are exclusive. You are unloving, etc.
And yet look at what that kind of thinking has led to today. We, as a culture, have lost our sense of right and wrong. We have lost our sense of absolute truth.
This world is a lot like Pontius Pilate, who looked at Jesus and asked, “What is truth?” But Truth was standing right in front of him in the form of God’s own Son.
God’s Word is truth. And it stands before us each and every day, just like Jesus stood before Pilate. The question is, what are we going to do with it?
We can ignore and neglect and oppose God’s truth, like Pilate did, or we can embrace and absorb and receive God’s truth. I hope that you are making the decision each day to open up God’s Word to receive His truth.
This month, Harvest Ministries is offering a great resource to help you in this area. It’s a book that’s simply called Truth, written by my friend Randy Alcorn.
Broken down into bite-size readings, Randy takes the truths of Scripture and paints a picture around each one to help you appreciate it better.
If there’s one thing this crazy world could use more of, it’s the truth of God’s Word. That’s why I encourage you to read your Bible daily so that your thinking and your actions each day are based in truth.
That’s also why we place such an emphasis on evangelism here at Harvest. When we preach the gospel and teach God’s Word, we are proclaiming the truth. Your financial support of this truth-spreading allows us to reach people all around the world every day.
I’d like to ask you to continue supporting this work by giving a donation to Harvest Ministries today. When you do, we will mail you a copy of Randy Alcorn’s book, Truth, as a way of saying thank you. You can give at this page:

Keep learning, sharing, and protecting God’s truth in this crazy world!

Greg
