Heaven Is Our Destination Where We Will Be ONE With The Lord Forever

Today, we are in The Season Of The Last Generation. The Birth Pains that Christ Jesus spoke about are currently under way, including natural and unnatural disasters. They will be ever increasing. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. Social, economic and political turmoil will be ever increasing, causing people's hearts to be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life. An apostasy within the Church of God is currently under way. This will all reach a climax with Satan revealing his Antichrist and requiring that everyone worship him; That every one receive his "mark" in order to buy or sell; The new currency of the New World Order, the New Tower of Babel.

Today, it is critical that those who have a heart for God are aware of what God is doing and speaking today. God is opening up His Word like never before in preparation for The Time Of The END. I exhort you to open up your heart and your eyes to see what He is doing and your ears to hear what God is speaking at this time. My prayer is that we will be able to stand before the Son of Man at His appearing, without fault and with great joy. I encourage you to read David Wilkerson's book, America's Last Call at davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com. Also, Google, Tommy Hicks Prophecy, 1961 for a view of the End Times.

Tom's books include: Called By Christ To Be ONE, The Time Of The END, The Season Of The Last Generation, Worship God In Spirit And In Truth, Daniel And The Time Of The END, and Overcoming The Evil One. They are available at amazon.com. They can also be read without cost by clicking on link: Toms Books.

To receive Christ Jesus as a child by faith is the highest human achievement.

Today, the Bride Of Christ is rising up in every nation in the world! Giving Glory to Her Savior and King, Christ Jesus!
Today, the world is Raging against God, Rushing toward Oblivion! Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation!
Today, America is being ground to powder because of it's SIN against God!

Man’s Greatest Fear

Man’s Greatest Fear

“And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is vain and your faith is also vain . . . But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

— 1 Corinthians 15:14, 20

Are you afraid to die? If so, you’re not alone. That fear is quite natural. But Jesus has solved this problem, the most incredible problem humankind has ever faced, generation after generation. Death has endured since humanity’s fall, and people have asked, “If a person dies, will he or she rise again?” By rising from the dead Himself, Jesus gave us irrefutable evidence that the answer is “yes.”

But people have doubted the truth of Christ’s resurrection. Some of the most brilliant and skeptical minds of the last two thousand years have attempted to disprove it. But all those efforts have yielded nothing but the truth—that Christ rose from the dead. Let’s consider some of the facts that these skeptics have had to address.

First, the Christian Church has endured and grown until it has become the largest organization on the planet today. That growth began in the first century, when the apostles began to preach that Jesus had risen from the dead. Next, to disprove the Resurrection, skeptics have had to explain the empty tomb; the broken Roman seal (if someone broke a Roman seal, he or she received the death penalty); and the Roman guards, who faced sure death if they left their posts or fell asleep on the job.

Most important, skeptics have had to dispute Christ’s appearances after His resurrection. The people saw Him, heard Him, touched Him. He fixed breakfast for his disciples. He ate fish with them. He appeared to five hundred people at one time. Furthermore, the apostles were transformed. One day they huddled in an upper room fearing for their lives, but soon after that they boldly proclaimed Christ’s resurrection in public. And all except John died for what they proclaimed, sealing their testimony in their own blood.

For these reasons and many more, we have a sure foundation for our faith in Christ’s resurrection. Because we know the Resurrection really happened, we know Christ has conquered death, and we no longer need to fear it.

“. . . the evidence speaks for itself. It says very clearly—
CHRIST IS RISEN INDEED.”

God Is with Them

DAILY DEVOTIONAL – MARCH 31, 2023

God Is with Them

By David Wilkerson

Listen Now

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13 NKJV).

We see in Acts 4 that as Peter and John stood waiting for judgment to be pronounced, the man who had just been healed stood with them. There, in the flesh, was living proof that Peter and John had been with Jesus. Now, as the synagogue rulers looked on “and seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it” (Acts 4:14).

What did Peter and John do when they were released? “And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them” (Acts 4:23).

The saints in Jerusalem rejoiced with the two disciples, then they prayed, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word, by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus” (Acts 4:29-30).

They were praying, “God, thank you for the boldness you’ve given our brothers, but we know this is just the beginning. Please, keep us all bold to speak with holy assurance. Provide evidence that you are with us.”

No doubt, Peter and John had seen the look of resignation on the high priest’s face when he realized they had been with Jesus. Peter must have winked at John and said, “If they only knew. They only remember that we were with Jesus weeks ago. They don’t realize we’ve been with the resurrected Lord ever since. We were just with him, in the Upper Room. Just this morning we were with him as we prayed in our cell. And as soon as we get out of here, we’re going to meet him again.”

That’s what happens with men and women who spend time with Jesus. When they come away from their time with Christ, he is with them wherever they go.

AMERICA, NOW A BANANA REPUBLIC?

Trump Indictment a Terrible Moment for America

Throwing a former president in jail is bananas. If that happens, we’ll certainly look a lot more like a banana republic.

On Thursday evening, a Manhattan grand jury indicted former President Donald Trump on charges related to hush money payments made to pornographic performer Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election. Though the details have yet to be released, the case against Trump seems murky at best. It really feels like they wanted to find something, anything to give them an excuse to arrest Trump.

This news marks the first time in American history that a former president has been criminally indicted.

Are we really going to put a former president—who is now currently running for president–in jail over an embarrassing but convoluted paperwork situation?

One presidential candidate, the socialist Eugene V. Debs, made a presidential bid from a jail cell. The third-party candidate had been charged with sedition by the Woodrow Wilson administration in World War I for urging people to ditch the draft in a public speech. Whatever can be said of Debs, it was hardly a proud moment for the country.

Debs was quickly pardoned by Republican President Warren G. Harding who campaigned for a return to “normalcy” and actually meant it, unlike the current commander-in-chief.

For those on the Left who openly support the Trump indictment, one of the go to lines has been that “nobody is above the law!”

Is that so?

That would make slightly more sense if the man prosecuting the case wasn’t Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The George Soros-connected district attorney became infamous for a day one memo highlighting how under his leadership, many serious crimes wouldn’t be prosecuted. The list included “resisting arrest, fare beating, prostitution, and trespassing.”

Bragg backed off a bit from that memo once the story went national, but his tenure has nevertheless been filled with cases of going so soft on crime that he should be doing commercials for Charmin toilet paper. He’s significantly reduced charges in grand larceny cases and he’s given light slaps on the wrist to notorious gangbangers with mile long rap sheets.

“Since taking office on Jan. 1, Bragg has downgraded 52% of felony cases to misdemeanors–compared to 39% in all of 2019,” reported the New York Post. “Between 2013 and 2020, under District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., the percentage of cases the office downgraded had never exceeded 40%, according to data made public by the DA’s office.”

In New York, almost everyone is above the law. Everyone but Trump, apparently.

It couldn’t be clearer that Bragg’s case is almost entirely politically motivated. I’d guess that most people who support the indictment likely know this too. That they are for it anyway says a lot about the current political climate.

This is quite clearly the direction left-wing thought is going in America. The people on the “wrong side of history,”—at this point most Republicans and conservative-leaning people—are the real criminals, the real enemies. Murderers, thieves, and gangsters are merely products of our racist, unjust system, you see.

Remember when President Joe Biden gave his angry, red speech yelling about how “MAGA Republicans” are a threat to democracy? What better way to show that than to put the original MAGA Republican in jail.

Now, Trump hasn’t gone to jail yet. It’s hard to see Bragg’s trial being much more than farce. This whole circus will certainly win him some fans among leftists in Manhattan, so maybe that’s all he wants here.

But one way or another this is a terrible moment for the country.

Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have been chippy lately, but DeSantis nevertheless explained why this indictment is so disturbing. He also announced that his state would not assist an extradition request from New York.

Jailing political opposition on shaky charges is the kind of thing we expect from corrupt dictatorships. It’s a precedent that tends to repeat itself, as it has in places like Haiti, where cycles of coup and repression become so common as to be expected.

So, what will be the result of Bragg’s decision to indict? The message he’s sending isn’t that “nobody is above the law,” it’s that the “law” is out to get you if you disagree with the regime, whether you are guilty or not.

That’s a dark road to embark on. We are approaching a Rubicon that will be very hard to uncross once the die is cast and criminally charging political opponents is normalized.

People will begin to give up on self-government, they’ll assume that electoral defeat means tyranny or worse. They’ll resort to bullets over ballots. A dictator who protects you and jails your enemies will be seen as the lesser of two evils.

We don’t want to live in that nightmare.

Is this the moment our American republic became a banana republic? Maybe not quite. But the clownish Manhattan district attorney and his left-wing cheerleaders are doing their best to bring us to that pathetic end.

Do Not Write Them Off

Do Not Write Them Off – Jane H. Young

What do you do when you see someone slowly sliding back into the hands of our enemy, the devil?
Do you turn your back as if there is no hope for them?
Absolutely not.
None of us are free from temptation; we all could fall into any sin.
God knew this.
He also knew we would need help at various times in our lives.
His Word reminds us, “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called ‘Today,’ so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Hebrews 3:13 NASB

The devil is running wild in our world right now.
We must be on the watch for ourselves and those we know and love. Actually, we need to go a little further than that — how about those we don’t know?

Pray and ask God daily who you can help, regardless of who it may be.
You may be the only hope for a desperate stranger.
I am not just talking about giving them things; I’m taking about giving them a real life-changing hope, Jesus!
Also, if you know someone who is on the fence spiritually right now, being pulled away from God by worldly ideas, material things, or lusts and many other snares of Satan, go help that person — but do not be judge-mental, and please don't write them off.
First, go in prayer asking for wisdom from God in how you can help them, and what to say or do, because Satan would love nothing more than for us to say or do something that would push that person further into his web.

“My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” James 5:19-20 NASB

Father, teach me to speak words of blessing, encouragement, love and joy into the lives of the people around me; and especially to my family. Amen

Why it’s tougher to prove the resurrection didn’t happen

Dear Friend,

If you have placed your trust in Jesus this Easter, you can rejoice that your sins are forgiven. Our culture desperately needs the same truth that you and I have received. People need to know that the evidence for Jesus’ resurrection is abundant and that the historical facts are as well-attested as any facts in ancient history.

That’s the message your prayers and generous support are enabling DJKM to proclaim this Easter season in our broadcasts, in print, and on the web.

Do you have some of that resurrection evidence ready to share with friends and loved ones?

If not, I’d love to send you Dr. Kennedy’s compact book, Risen Indeed, as my thanks for your generous donation. It contains evidence for the resurrection that will strengthen your own faith and give you facts you can share with those around you. Frankly, you’ll discover that the evidence for the resurrection is so strong that the really difficult task is not proving that it took place but proving that it didn’t. You don’t want to miss this weighty gem of an apologetic.

Jesus stands unique!

For your generous gift of $50 or more, we’ll send you the book, and our compelling documentary on DVD, Who Is This Jesus: Is He the Only Way?

Beautifully filmed and heavily researched, it features commentary from Michael Youssef, Darrell Bock, Nancy Pearcey, Daniel Wallace, Mike Licona, and many more, providing answers to questions such as:

  • Are the Biblical accounts of Jesus reliable?
  • Do they record history or myth?
  • Did Jesus really rise from the dead?
  • Do all roads lead to God?
  • Is the Jesus of the Bible the Jesus of history?
  • And more

You’ll have concrete evidence and compelling reasons to believe beyond a doubt that Jesus rose again. And it’s evidence that can be used in conversation any time of year.

I’m delighted to provide these superb resources, produced by DJKM, as my thank you for partnering with us. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

Have a blessed Holy Week.

Sincerely,

Rev. Robert J. Pacienza

The Power and Simplicity of Prayer

DAILY DEVOTIONAL – MARCH 27, 2023

The Power and Simplicity of Prayer

By Gary Wilkerson

Listen Now

Don’t you love listening to a child pray? Many of us can remember praying as children. It was simple then because our young hearts approached God with sweet, unguarded directness. “Gentle Jesus meek and mild, look upon a little child.” As we grew up, our prayers changed. We looked to parents or other believers or church leaders for direction on the mature and ‘right’ ways to pray.

Sadly, many of us now find that the pure, clear communication with God we had as children has collected some static along the way. The business and perils of life have polluted our ability to speak to God and hear from him. Structure and intimidating labels like ‘intercessor’ and ‘prayer warrior’ have crept into our church culture, adding to the pressure. We’ve lost our own voice, and prayer now feels like a chore.

If we could only hear the heart of our Lord! “Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’” (Isaiah 58:9 ESV). “Turn and look,” he says, “I am here, beside you. Just call on me; no instruction or skillset needed.”

No matter how you pray — quiet meditation, songs of worship, journaling prayers, tearful conversations — the soul connection is the same. People around the world are praying right now. They are shouting, chanting, whispering in cathedrals and tents, penthouses and prisons. Some like to walk and pray; some can only sit and silently mouth the words. It doesn’t matter to God. What he loves is that we are acknowledging his presence and sharing what is in our hearts with him. As my friend Pastor Carter Conlon says, “To me, praying is as natural as breathing.”

Consider the words of David: “You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether” (Psalm 139:3-4). This beautiful chapter is a poem of praise to a God who knows us intimately and wants our companionship. Here I am. Talk with me.

Does your heart long to return to that sweet, unadorned relationship with God? Do you desire a prayer life that anchors and sustains you? You can have it today. Begin with an open heart and simple, honest words. He will meet you there.
