REJECT THE WORLD'S LABELS

Title: I am what God calls me not what the world says I am.

Text: 2CORINTIANS 5:17. 1PETER 2:9-10

Introduction:

The world has a way of labeling us, defining us and confining us to its expectations.

But as believers, we must remember that our true identity comes from our God alone.

The world labels:

The world may call you:

•A failure

•A mistake

•Unworthy

▪︎Unloved

▪︎Unacceptable

But God says:

•You're a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)

•You are chosen, royal, and Holy (1 Peter 2:9-10)

•You are loved, forgiven, and redeemed

•You are a child of God.

The power of God's name is not just a label; it is a lifeline.

They remind us our true identity and purpose.

▪︎ You are Saint not a sinner

You are a son/ daughter, not an orphan.

You are a Victor not a victim

To walk in our true identity we must: reject the world's labels, we must embrace God's names for us, and we must live out our true identity with confidence and purpose.

As I conclude my today's teaching, I want to remind you that you're not what the world says are, you're what God calls you.

Remember your true identity is rooted in love, grace, redemption. Walk in the power of your true identity and never the world define again.
