Dear Friend, One of the most harmful falsehoods being peddled in our nation today is that people can be born in the wrong body and that the only solution is affirming one's gender confusion and "transitioning" via invasive surgical procedures and experimental drugs. At our recent Pray Vote Stand Summit, I moderated a panel discussion about the harmful effects of gender ideology and how it has spread to many areas of American life. One of the panelists I spoke with exemplifies how this ideology is harming families. Amy is a mother whose daughter identifies as transgender and whose family is suffering the consequences of the gender identity indoctrination happening at her daughter's school. At FRC Action, we are working to empower and equip parents like Amy and to see laws enacted that protect minors from harmful gender transition procedures. Family Research Council's Dr. Jennifer Bauwens, who also spoke on the panel, recently testified as an expert witness before the House Judiciary Committee and in multiple state capitols on how dangerous so-called "gender-affirming care" is for children. FRC Action will continue to pray for and stand with families and encourage elected leaders to enact protections for them. Would you consider partnering with us as we stand for truth by making a contribution to FRC Action today? I was also joined on the panel by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who has boldly stood up to the transgender activists in his state. He led an investigation that uncovered medical clinics that had sterilized and mutilated children in the name of "gender-affirming care." Missouri defended a statute at the trial court level that, as Bailey put it, "put an end to the sterilization of children." Brandon Showalter, a journalist for the Christian Post, has been reporting on the stories of families who have been tragically affected by gender ideology. During the panel discussion, he told me, "We need to dispel the notion that this is somehow a rare occurrence." Unfortunately, he's right. Thankfully, many are taking a stand. Riley Gaines, who has become a champion for women's sports, pleaded from the stage at Pray Vote Stand Summit for parents to "be willing to defend your daughters." This dangerous ideology has run into a stonewall of parents, grandparents, concerned citizens, and policymakers who are standing against it. We are starting to see more Americans turn against it. Yet, the fight is far from over. Evil never rests. We will continue to shine the light of truth in this darkness and rally support around all those who do the same. Would you consider joining us by making a contribution? I am grateful for your support. Standing (Eph. 6:13),
