If we are in a wounded place, we should be still in the presence of God. Our speech should be unto the Lord and not to others.
If we really want freedom we must trust in God to restore us… not as we were, but as a new creation IN Christ.
This requires a purging of the old self when we fully submit to God. Allowing God to examine our heart (even when we have been wronged) exposes any spirit of bitterness or vengeance in us towards our transgressors.
Holding onto our pain will create a roadblock and prevents The Holy Spirit from doing a work in us.
We must seek to come to God bearing our heart before him; letting forgiveness be the anthem of our heart.
Having walked here, I will testify to the hinderance (slowing down) that takes place when we hold onto things in resentment instead of fully releasing them to God.
It is rebellion against God to call oneself a follower of Christ but hold onto animosity towards others.
We cannot be double minded...we must choose what spirit we will serve. When I have gone through trials, God has been very clear that I am to remain quiet in my struggles with no complaining.
God will provide safety and shelter from the storm or trial, but we must submit all of it to him which includes our heart. God speaks with great clarity when we are listening.
So many want sympathy from people for what appears to be wrong, but it is carnal and will bear no fruit but create bondage!
Trusting God to work things out in our trials and injustices requires getting out of the way and letting go by walking through the Blood of Jesus. His blood washes and cleanses us into healing and restoration.
He does not need our help, we only confuse things through are many words and feelings.
I stand today testifying of God's amazing grace and steadfast love, knowing with him ALL things are possible!
