Almighty God …
I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. (Isaiah 46:9b-10)
“Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? (Job 11:7)
Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding? Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands (continents) as though they were fine dust. (Isaiah 40:14-15)
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. (Isaiah 40:26)
For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings? In the council of the holy ones (angels) God is greatly feared (honored); he is more awesome than all who surround him. Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you. (Psalm 89:6-8)
No one is like you, Lord (Jesus); you are great, and your name is mighty in power. (Jeremiah 10:6)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (1 John 5:11)
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is (face to face). All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. (1 John 3:2-3)
God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. (1 Timothy 6:15b-16)
