Message from Stephen Strang, Founder of Charisma and President of Christian Life Missions
There is an enormous humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine.
I’ve been to the Ukraine three times many years ago and even then found the Pentecostal church to be vibrant.
It’s grown ever since. We are focusing on helping the Christians in Ukraine through ministries we know and trust.
Below are some of the articles we have run and some of the podcasts I’ve personally done.
The need is urgent and sometimes it is better to give directly to the ministry.
Other times we become aware of smaller ministries that need help. We vet them and then pass along 100% of what you give to meet the need.
My first podcast was with Tatiana Gumenyuk.
It’s heartbreaking as she tells what was happening in the first few days of the war.
Then I interviewed Zhenya Kasevich who is extremely connected to everything going on in Ukraine.
Now living in Miami, he used to pastor Hillsong Church in Kiev.
We even covered him in Charisma in 2000.
I have also done a podcast with Dave Donaldson of CityServe and some of his key leaders.
They are on the ground in Poland.
You can give directly to them at this site: cityserve.us/Ukrainian-crisis.
Or you can give through Christian Life Missions and we will forward 100% of what you give.
But the money is needed now, not later.
To buy food now, CLM has already sent money from our reserves to be refunded by the donations as they come in.
But the need is that great we rushed them the money.
Thanks in advance for your help.
And check this site as we add the stories we continue to run.
And check out the other Ukrainian articles on charismanews.com
Sincerely in Christ,
Stephen Strang
