I have a message for you, enemy of God: Christ is still a carpenter and He is still building His church.
The Kingdom of God is under construction. While your world is falling apart, ours is coming together.
Jesus said it Himself,
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)
The rage of California; New York elitism; secular progressive education; Hollywood; and Silicon Valley
— all these self-identify as the Gates of Hell.
And thus, according to the Son of God, they shall not prevail.
YOU CAN’T STOP WHAT JESUS IS BUILDING.
You are no match for the Mighty One who is building His church.
Don’t be fooled by your artificial gains.
It may seem like the faithful have been driven underground.
It may look like perversion is prevailing.
By your measure, oh enemy of Christ, the church has either been diluted, counterfeited, or flat-out neutralized in America.
But the truth is: it is all a façade.
Have you succeeded in creating a post-Christian America?
Don’t pop the champagne cork just yet.
California and New York can pass all the laws they want.
They will not suffocate the Word of God.
They will only play into God’s hands.
Are you attempting to deny the hunger of the human heart for Jesus?
That strategy will only increase the hunger for the true reality of God’s Kingdom.
Politicians and influencers with immoral lifestyles claim to be Christian, hoping to blur the truth of the Bible.
That too will backfire.
Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my Word will not pass away.”
And let all false ministers beware as well.
You are the unwitting partner of Satan who is working to dull the saints of God into a false faith.
You lied about holiness.
You caved-in to the culture, hoping to negotiate a truce with evil.
Even you can’t stop Christ from building true disciples.
Somewhere out there, in an unknown church, believers who want nothing but Jesus Himself, huddle together, seeking His face.
I have a word for you:
You have no idea how close you are to a breakthrough.
God is building you into something unstoppable!
Somewhere out there, right now, broken and humble pastors are shedding tears over the fierce assault that is attacking their ministry.
They have no idea why they must hold on just a little bit longer.
Dear pastor: If you filter out the taunts of the devil, you will hear the sound of Jesus building something amazing through you.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:10 “According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. The foundation is sure.” Truly, we as believers are all building beside the Lord, and at the same time “as living stones, we are being built up into a spiritual house…(so) proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light!” (1 Peter 2:5 & 9)
The foundation is so sure that nothing can destroy it.
Everything built on this foundation becomes eternal.
Just ignore the railings of man and fold yourself into the surpassing power of God Who creates ministries out of impossible situations.
It is time to laugh at the devil, and find renewed might in ministry.
It is time to dust off the words of the old spiritual:
“I’m working on the building.
It’s a true foundation.
I’m lifting up a bloodstained
Banner for the Lord.
It’s a true foundation.
I’m lifting up a bloodstained
Banner for the Lord.
“I’ll have a good time
Working on the building.
I’m going to heaven
To get my reward.
Working on the building.
I’m going to heaven
To get my reward.
“When you see me praying,
I’m working on the building.
I’m lifting up a bloodstained
Banner for the Lord.
I’m working on the building.
I’m lifting up a bloodstained
Banner for the Lord.
“Well, I’ll never get tired
Working on the building.
I’m going to heaven
To get my reward!”
Working on the building.
I’m going to heaven
To get my reward!”
No one can stop what Jesus is building!
