Robert Mueller Launched This Sick Plan To Jail Trump’s Family
Special counsel Robert Mueller is determined to bring down President Trump by any means necessary.
But no one thought he could go this far.
One legal expert went on TV and left jaws on the ground by revealing this sick plan Mueller cooked up to jail a member of Trump’s family.
Ever since Trump Organization fixer Michael Cohen flipped on the President and claimed he would testify that Donald Trump knew about the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer, anti-Trump journalists have been predicting this could be the end for Trump.
George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joeand detailed a possible avenue for the prosecution against Donald Trump Jr. that would end with Congress impeaching Trump.
Trump Jr. testified behind closed doors that Donald Trump did not know about the meeting.
Michael Cohen also gave similar testimony but now is willing to change his story.
Turley explained that Trump is just one witness turning on him from disaster.
“I THINK THE COHEN DEVELOPMENT IS VERY SERIOUS. HE’S ONE WITNESS AWAY FROM A POTENTIAL CATASTROPHE. IF ANY OF THOSE FIVE WITNESSES BREAKS AND SUPPORTS MICHAEL COHEN, THIS WILL GET REAL BAD, REAL FAST,” TURLEY STATED.
The George Washington Law professor explained that it’s not because Cohen’s testimony would prove collusion – it doesn’t – but that it would expose Donald Trump Jr. to a perjury charge and that could lead to President Trump seeing a witch hunt threatening his family and begin firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and eventually Mueller.
“IT’S NOT THAT THE MEETING WILL ESTABLISH A CRIME OF COLLUSION, EVEN IF WHAT COHEN IS SAYING IS TRUE, BUT WHAT IT WOULD MEAN IS THAT DONALD TRUMP JR. WOULD BE IN SERIOUS JEOPARDY OF A CRIMINAL CHARGE.”“IF MUELLER WAS TO GO AFTER DONALD TRUMP JR., I THINK WE WOULD SEE A VERY RAPID CHAIN OF EVENTS AND IT WOULD NOT END WELL FOR ANYONE,” TURLEY DECLARED
Turley further detailed how Mueller accepting Cohen’s testimony could lead to impeachment,
“Donald Trump could very well match his past visceral language with similar action. He could start to fire people. And that would have a cascading effect. It would probably take us right to the doorstep of impeachment.”
This is a real threat.
In a separate interview on Fox and Friends, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz explained that Mueller is threatening former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort with a scenario where either he testifies against Trump or dies in prison.
“look, you have two choices: die in prison or testify against your former associate. And most people will take the ‘testify’ option rather than the ‘die in prison’ option,” Dershowitz explained.
Dershowitz further stated that individuals in that situation would “compose” a story to get a better deal.
If Manafort fibbed about Trump knowing about the meeting, that could be enough for Mueller to go after Donald Trump Jr.
Mueller has no collusion or obstruction of justice case.
The only remaining path to impeach Trump is to bait the President into firing him and then hope public pressure pushes Congress to impeach Trump.
But would Mueller really go that far to threaten the President’s son with jail time in an effort provoke a Constitutional crisis?
It is a dishonest and shameful tactic, but it is one no Trump supporter would put past Mueller, who is willingly participating in a silent coup against the President.
