Untethered.
That is the word that best describes Liberalism. Untethered from
Reality, from Truth, and most importantly, untethered from any moral
standards or even moral minimums. The number 1 tenet of Liberalism is
that There are no moral standards. I think this is the most
appealing part of Liberalism, for most people.
It
means you can do anything you want, and you never hold yourself
accountable for the consequences of your actions.
Nothing
is forbidden because it is an immoral act. In the Liberal worldview,
everything is just a benign "choice" with no moral
entanglements.
If
intentionally harming people is the essence of Evil, then all you
need to show is that Liberals are aware of the consequences of their
actions in order to show that they are Evil.
But
that is not straightforward. If you talk to enough Liberals, you will
quickly come to the conclusion that they do NOT perceive nor even
acknowledge the consequences of their actions.
And
they will always deny that the effects of their actions are 'their
fault'. Look at any Liberal policy. Fatherless households, welfare
dependency, open door borders, state-sanctioned abortions, low
incomes & unemployment due to minimum wage laws, low incomes &
lower economic growth due to government regulations, etc etc etc.
The
Liberal will never acknowledge that they are responsible for these
Bad Things [TM], even though it is a direct effect of their policies.
So I frequently come to another conclusion; Liberals are both unaware
and apathetic of the consequences of their actions.
Is
it Evil if you are completely oblivious to the consequences of your
actions? I think over a period of time, it is impossible for someone
to be unaware of everything and not be responsible for it. //
