COULTER: 10 MILLION MORE TRUMP VOTES IF GOP BLOWS SUPREME COURT FIGHT
Capitulation to Obama will further fuel billionaire's appeal

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter says the U.S. Senate may inadvertently win Donald Trump 10 million extra votes in the aftermath of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death.
President Obama is expected to move quickly to replace the void left by Scalia’s passing on Saturday at a West Texas resort. Coulter said any capitulation by Republicans to Obama’s agenda once it returns from its recess Feb. 22 will further push voters into the Republican hopeful’s camp.
“Look, if they let somebody go through, I mean, I think Trump is going to win anyway but it’s just going to get him another ten million votes,” Coulter told Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM.
The conservative author said if the 79-year-old justice had died prior to the rise of Trump, then Senate Republications would have assuredly caved to the president’s demands.
“If this had happened a year ago … we’ve seen how Republicans have behaved,” Coulter said. “They’re utterly craven. They would probably pass, or Senate Republicans would confirm whomever Obama sends up. They’d ring their hands. Sen. Lindsey Graham would be leading the charge, talking about how it’s the president’s right to decide. Now that Donald Trump has come on the scene, I think Washington Republicans may be starting to get the message.”
Legal minds have already began ruminating on the short-list of candidates Obama is likely to consider in the weeks ahead.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder and current Attorney General Loretta Lynch are two of the most recognizable names. Others include former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick; New Jersey Sen. Corey Booker; Ninth Circuit Judge Paul Watford; and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobucher and California Attorney General Kamala Harris, as WND reported.
“I plan to fulfill my constitutional responsibilities to nominate a successor in due time. There will be plenty of time for me to do so and for the Senate to fulfill its responsibility to give that person a fair hearing and a timely vote. These are responsibilities that I take seriously, as should everyone,” Obama said Saturday after announcing Scalia’s death.
Trump went on record during Saturday night’s CBS debate from South Carolina for the adoption of a “delay, delay, delay,” strategy, while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz began planning a filibuster.
“The Senate needs to stand strong and say, ‘We’re not going to give up the Supreme Court for a generation by allowing Barack Obama to make one more liberal appointee,” Cruz said during debate, WND reported.
Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara, who pronounced Scalia dead on Saturday, said the death certificate will say the cause was natural and that he died of a heart attack.
She said she decided not to order an autopsy after Sheriff Danny Dominguez concluded there were no signs of foul play, WFAA News in Dallas reported Sunday. The Scalia family concurred.
“As part of my investigation, one of the things I did ask the sheriff and the U.S. Marshal: ‘Were there any signs of foul play?’ And they said, ‘absolutely not.’ At that time, I still wanted to be careful, and asked them if [Scalia’s] physician would call me,” Guevara said, WND reported.
Guevara said she talked to Scalia’s doctor in Washington, D.C., who told her he had been sick and had been at his office Wednesday and Thursday before going on the hunting trip Friday.

The First and Second Amendments would be Gone Soon and Wickedness would Ensue that would be unparalleled.
