'SLASHER' THEME TARGETS JEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Those Freddie Krueger slasher themes of the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Friday the 13th” film series soon will have nothing on Palestinian Facebook and other social-media pages, according to a report from the Palestinian Media Watch.

The organization that monitors media activity in the Middle East, reports on it, and offers analysis, explains in a new report posted on Wednesday that the image of blades, blood and carnage has surged.

“The current Palestinian terror wave is an excellent example of how the Palestinian population has responded to the leadership’s message,” the new report explains. “Mahmoud Abbas and other PA leaders sparked the current terror and violence by frequently reiterating the PA libel that Israel is planning to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and they called on Palestinians to ‘defend it,’ ‘bless[ed] every drop of blood spilled’ for it, ‘congratulated’ the murderers and much more.

“Responding to the call, and following the praise and support from PA and Fatah leaders, among them Abbas, who referred to stabbings as ‘peaceful popular uprising,’ Palestinians are – independent of the leadership – inciting to murder on social media, including encouraging people to slit the throats of Jews, and committing murder themselves,” the report said.

The blades are all over. In one video, a tiny girl saves a foot-long knife and shouts, “Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab!” to the question of what she would tell Palestinians in the West Bank.

PMW reports that another Facebook feature in the Palestinian community shows a staged stabbing of two Jews.

The video portrays two "Jews" harassing several children playing in the streets, and "in revenge, a young Palestinian ambushes them, stabs one and slits the throw of the other, killing them both."

A third, a music video, also promotes stabbing of Jews.

Warning that Jews are "doomed to death," the singer explains, "I stab a Zionist … I take revenge because I am a Palestinian Muslim."

Among the lyrics:

I'm coming toward you, my enemy, I'm coming with my rifle and my faith. … Our war is a war of the streets.

It continues, "Stab! Stab! Stab!"

A fourth includes video clips of real – and violent – stabbing attacks on Jews.

The music video's lyrics include, "Let fear come down on them, and let death come for them in a flash. Children of Zion, tell of the swords that were openly plunged in you."

The social media pages are littered with still images of children wielding knives, PMW said, as well as poetry and other words.

One is headlined, "Knock on heaven's door with the head of a Jew."

It praises the work of Yahya Ayyash, who built and exploded a number of bombs before he was killed in 1996. He reportedly was involved in attacks that killed some 65 people.

The PMW explains that the current wave of violence includes an attack by 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist Muhannad Halabi, who in October killed Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi and Aharon Bennett, and injured Bennett's wife, Adele, and 2-year-old son, in a stabbing.

Also, PMW reported Fadi Alloun, another 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist, stabbed and injured Israeli citizen Moshe Malka at the same time.

Both terrorists were shot and killed by Israeli security forces after their attacks.

WND had reported only weeks ago on another video featuring a toddler and the stabbing theme:

It looks like a typical cute toddler video posted online: a little girl standing in the family residence being coached by someone off screen.

Then you notice the long carving knife she's holding, and her voice jars.

"I want to stab a Jew," she says.

This was uncovered by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

MEMRI said the video was posted online Oct. 16 on an account that previously had featured images of small children.

The girl states, "I want to stab a Jew."

An off-screen voice asks, "Why do you want to stab the Jew?"

"Because he stole our land."

MEMRI reported the little girl is named Rah, and her father is Abdulhaleem Abuesha, a teacher in the Madaba refugee camp in Jordan.

WND also reported recently a Palestinian television show featured two interviewees in military fatigues who declare their aspiration in life is to "blow up the Jews."

They're about 6 years old.

The boys appear on a children's show moderated by a girl who is not much older than they are, reported MEMRI.

MEMRI said the show was on Al-Aqsa TV, the official channel of Hamas, the jihadist organization that governs Gaza.

The moderator asks one of the boys, Muhammad, about his poetry.

"Who taught this poem, Muhammad?" the young moderator asks.

His mother, said Muhammad Ali Zakariya Al-Astal.

He then recites:

Oh Jerusalem, I shall redeem you with my soul and my blood.

I shall liberate you from the Jews by means of the Al-Qassam Brigades, of course.

I bring glad tidings to our prisoners: Salvation is near.

Asked what he wants to be when he grows up, Muhammad said he wants to become a member of Al-Qassam Brigades, the so-called military wing of Hamas.

Another interviewee, identified as Zakariya, said he wants to be an engineer "so that I can blow up the Jews."

"You want to blow up the Jews? No, we want to blow up the Zionists. You mean the occupation, right? OK, so that is why you want to become an engineer?" the program hostess said.

And WND reported just this week on the discovery by Israeli customs inspectors of a shipment of toys apparently intended to radicalize children.

According to the Foreign Policy website, the 4,000 tiny dolls were dressed up with keffiyehs covering their faces and their right arms raised, holding a stone, ready to throw.

The shipment had been marked clothing, rugs and plastic products, but what was found were stuffed toys wearing red, green, black and white scarves, inscribed with, "Jerusalem is ours."

Pieces of cloth, dyed gray, resembled stones in their right hands.

"These dolls were making their way to the Palestinian Authority with one clear purpose," Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said in the report. "And that was to poison the minds of innocent children."

WND also reported about Palestinian leader has explained that killing Jews is good, but it has to be done in a way that the international community won't notice – or care about – what's going on.

"The international community does not agree to a bus exploding in Tel Aviv. But the international community does not ask what happens to a settler or soldier in the occupied territories at the wrong time and in the wrong place. No one asks about him! Therefore, we want to fight in such a way that the world and the international community will remain by our side," said Jibril Rajoub in a recent interview.

He's the deputy secretary of the Fatah Central Committee and chief of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs.

The interview was captured and re-posted by officials with Palestinian Media Watch, who monitor media dispatches through that region of the world, report on them and offer analysis.

In light of the terror attacks in Paris that left some 130 dead, and the subsequent Muslim terror attack in California where a Muslim woman who pledged allegiance to ISIS and her husband killed 14 and injured 21, the report was issued.

Rajoub, who appeared on official PA-TV making the comments, was expressing "total support for the Palestinian terror which has murdered 22 Israelis and injured 215 in the last two months," the report said.

"I congratulate everyone who carried them out (terror attacks). I say to you, we are proud of you," he said, PMW reported.

The report continued, "However, Rajoub added that Palestinians must be careful not to carry out suicide terror in Tel Aviv, not because killing Israelis that way is wrong, but because the international community rejects and condemns it. Rajoub recommended that Palestinians murdered only those Israelis whose murder the international community will accept as legitimate targets – the 'settlers and soldiers' who are killed because they are 'at the wrong time and in the wrong place.' Rajoub essentially instructs murderers of Israelis to make sure they murder the right ones."
