PLANNED PARENTHOOD SENDING ABORTED BABIES TO LANDFILLS

Ohio AG calls disposal of unborn's remains 'callous and completely inhumane'

 Ohio’s attorney general excoriated Planned Parenthood on Friday for disposing of fetal remains in landfills.

“Disposing of aborted fetuses from an abortion by sending them to a landfill is callous and completely inhumane. It is important the public be aware that these practices are taking place at these Ohio facilities,” Mike DeWine said in a press release Friday.
DeWine’s office launched an investigation into Planned Parenthood in July after undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress showed the organization’s representatives discussing prices for fetal tissue. No Planned Parenthood affiliates in Ohio were selling tissue, but the probe concluded they were in violation of rules mandating fetuses “shall be disposed of in a humane manner.”
“All three Ohio Planned Parenthood affiliates have sent fetal remains to companies which disposed of the fetuses in landfills,” DeWine said.
Stephanie Kight, president and chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, immediately challenged the report’s findings.
“These new allegations by the attorney general that we are improperly disposing of fetal tissue are flat-out false. Planned Parenthood handles medical tissue like any other quality health care provider,” Kight said in a statement, Reuters reported. “Our agreements with vendors all require them to follow state law, and dispose of tissue accordingly. If they are not, then I will take swift action.”
“The vast majority of the documents showed they were going to landfills,” Dan Tierney, a spokesman for Ohio DeWine’s office, countered Friday during an interview with the Blaze. “Planned Parenthood cooperated with the investigation, and that is what the findings revealed.”
The Ohio Department of Health has received DeWine’s report and will examine its findings. If the department concurs with the attorney general, then Planned Parenthood would be subject to administrative penaltie
