FINALLY: Lawsuit Launched That Could Shut Down Obama’s Plan to Flood America With Muslims

(Conservative Tribune) Americans may finally get some answers regarding how the Obama administration has continued to bring thousands of Muslim refugees into the United States despite opposition.

Government watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Monday it had filed a federal Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Obama administration seeking records that would help clarify Obama’s refugee resettlement program.

Judicial Watch, which has consistently dogged the White House over immigration and other issues, sought correspondence between the State Department and a network of pro-immigrant private agencies. These records could help explain how almost 100,000 refugees have been allowed to enter 180 American cities and towns every year.

President Barack Obama’s resettlement program has been shrouded in secrecy for years, and recent terror attacks carried out by “refugees” in Europe have elevated concerns of how refugees are allowed in the country and what vetting process they undergo — if any — before arriving. Even Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson has admitted the background checks are inadequate.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told WND his organization has been investigating the refugee resettlement program for months but faced resistance from the State Department.

He said Judicial Watch was seeking “basic information” that anyone would seek when evaluating a program but “people often come in the middle of the game and don’t understand how it’s running, what money is involved and who the players are,” he said.

“This shows once again this administration, which said it would be the most transparent in history, is willing to break the law and use secrecy with impunity to cover up information because if they were totally helpful we’d have had it yesterday,” he added.

The organization filed similar FOIA requests in May and September, to which the State Department failed to respond.

More than 30 governors have refused to participate in Obama’s resettlement plan, but Obama has insisted on relocating displaced immigrants to American cities anyway.

“The Obama administration doesn’t want Americans to know about how it places refugees from terrorist states in their local communities,” Fitton said in a news release announcing the lawsuit.

The fact that a lawsuit had to be filed to get basic information, he said, “should tell Americans (and Congress) that the Obama administration has something to hide about refugees, terrorism, and national security.”

We’re pretty sure that’s not all the Obama administration has to hide… but it’s as good a place to start as any.
