GOVERNMENT STUPIDITY DEFIES BELIEF
Exclusive: Morgan Brittany remembers when the feds actually protected America
I continue to be appalled and embarrassed by our government. Is there no one with half a brain even running the show? I don’t want to lump all of the people protecting us together because some of them actually do their jobs and are probably as disgusted as I am with the information that has come to light these past few weeks about Homeland Security, the State Department and other government agencies.
For instance, after Obama assured us that all refugees and people entering this country were questioned, fully screened and vetted and that there was no danger of anyone with terrorism ties getting through, we learned that one of the San Bernardino killers, Tashfeen Malik, had entered this country on a K-1 fiance visa with no problem.
Ah, but there was a problem. Not only had she lied about where she came from with a bogus address, but she had long been a radical ISIS sympathizer and spoken of the glories of jihad!
What kind of vetting did Homeland Security do when they questioned her? Ask her whether or not she was a terrorist?! Uh, yes, that is exactly what they did. You can’t make this stuff up; they actually wanted answers to these questions on her visa questionnaire:
“Do you seek to engage in terrorist activities while in the United States, or have you ever engaged in terrorist activities?” Check yes or no.
“Are you a member or representative of a terrorist organization?” Check yes or no.
“Have you ever or do you intend to provide financial assistance or any other support to terrorists or terror organizations?” Check yes or no. If yes, please explain. (Sorry, I had to add that.)
I’m sure she just opened right up and told them everything. Obviously not.
I’m sorry, but we look like the biggest buffoons in the world. What happened to actually investigating who is coming into this country? We used to do it, so it’s not a novel idea. Remember Ellis Island?
Whoever was running the show back then certainly took extra precautions to ensure that the people coming into our country were not bringing disease and that they had a sponsored family responsible for them.
My own Italian relatives went through the process. Now it’s “Come one, come all! Sick? It’s fine. Pregnant? Even better. No home or relatives here? Are you a refugee from a terrorist country? No problem, we will just sign you up for government programs and you’ll live the American Dream, no questions asked.”
Who is in charge of this fiasco? When asked about it by reporters last week, a spokeswoman for the State Department, Elizabeth Trudeau, spoke about this “foolproof” vetting process.
“All of our visa screening processes go through multiple layers of security, including fingerprints, face-to-face interviews, the full assortment of background screenings,” she said.” Asked whether she could “say with absolute confidence that no one dropped the ball in this case,” Trudeau replied, “At this stage I have no information that indicates that.” Really?
How about 14 dead Americans shot by this Malik woman? No one dropped the ball, Ms. Trudeau?
The most recent news about how the government vets these people uncovered the fact that because of privacy issues, no one can monitor Facebook or other social media pages to find out who they are or who they pledge their allegiance to.
Why? It’s a public forum; anyone can access it if they have a public page. Once again: stupidity.
Take a look at this video of Rep. Jim Jordan questioning Kelli Ann Burriesci, who works as deputy assistant secretary of DHS, and you will witness a great example of why we need to be concerned for our safety.
The terror issue is just one of the huge examples of stupidity within our government. The other mind-boggling issue is the Iran nuclear agreement that every sane person was against. So, let me get this straight. The agreement isn’t really an agreement because it was never signed by the Iranians, yet sanctions were lifted as if there were an agreement.
“The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is not a treaty or an executive agreement, and is not a signed document,” wrote Julia Frifield, the State Department assistant secretary for legislative affairs, in a Nov. 19 letter. “The success of the JCPOA will depend not on whether it is legally binding or signed, but rather on the extensive verification measures we have put in place, as well as Iran’s understanding that we have the capacity to re-impose and ramp up our sanctions if Iran does not meet its commitments.” Huh?
Has she not noticed that Iran is holding all the cards and as recently as last week the Islamic Republic tested a new ballistic missile capable of carrying multiple warheads? This is in direct breech of two U.N. Security Council resolutions and the JCPOA! Stupid.
Iranian leaders are not even trying to hide this. In fact, they are flaunting it in our face and in the world’s face. President Hassan Rouhani said when Iran was unveiling the Fatah 313 missile, “we will have a new ballistic missile in the near future that will be a thorn in the eyes of our enemies.” Could he make it any clearer?
I seriously cannot remember a time when sheer stupidity was this rampant in our government. It is actually frightening to most Americans to think that we are really on our own with no one looking out for us. I remember in the ’50s and ’60s going to bed at night thinking that the President or someone in power was out there making sure that Russia didn’t drop the bomb on us. Maybe government was just as stupid then as it is now, but at least we were reassured that it wasn’t.
I cringe at how the world sees the United States right now. Obama has just decimated our strength and made us look like fools. It’s going to be a long 2016.

My comments: What Morgan Brittany is not understanding is that ALL that Obama does is not Stupidity, but PURPOSEFUL. Obama came to SABOTAGE America, as should by this time, be Obvious to Everyone.
