Slams White House for P.C. push on Muslim-related rhetoric

Pamela Geller, founder of the popular Atlas Shrugs blog and president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative – an organization deemed an anti-Muslim hate group by the liberal leaning Southern Poverty Law Center – issued a boldface challenge to President Obama in the wake of his administration’s press for politically correct rhetoric about radical Islamists, telling the commander in chief, bluntly: “Bring it on,” she said.

The challenge came on the heels of widely reported comments Geller made to a Florida radio host about Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s recent remarks on Muslims.

Lynch, at a Muslim Advocates dinner on Dec. 3, said she found the “rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric” an “incredibly disturbing” phenomenon, one that might not meet the federal standards of free speech.

Her words, as reported by WND: “Now obviously this is a country that is based on free speech, but when it edges towards violence, when we see the potential for someone … lifting that mantle of anti-Muslim rhetoric, or, as we saw after 9/11, violence against individuals who may not even be Muslims but may be perceived to be Muslims … When we see that, we will take action.”

Lynch also remarked how the federal government has “had a thousand investigations into acts of anti-Muslim hatred, including rhetoric and bigoted actions, with over 45 prosecutions,” since the September 11, 2001, terror attacks on American soil, Breitbart reported.

Commentators and political watchers quickly wondered what Lynch meant by the vow to “take action,” and whether that was a heads up the federal government, under President Obama’s watch, was going to start prosecuting people for statements they make against Muslims that are perceived as hateful or inflammatory.

Geller was one of those raising the red flag on Lynch’s remarks. And in an interview with radio host Joyce Kaufman, in context of discussing the potential of being arrested for speech that federal officials deemed fuel for a crime against Muslims, Geller said over the airwaves to Lynch: “Come and get me, biatch.”

In an email to WND, Geller doubled down on her criticisms of the Obama administration, while elaborating on the Florida radio interview.

In “Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance,” renowned activist Pamela Geller provides the answer, offering proven, practical guidance on how freedom lovers can stop jihadist initiatives in local communities.

She wrote: “In an interview … with popular Florida radio host (and woman warrior) Joyce Kaufman, we discussed Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s pledge to Muslim groups that she would prosecute ‘anti-Muslim’ rhetoric. That was the Obama administration’s take away from the San Bernardino jihad slaughter – sharia enforcement. I said to Joyce, if some idiot did something stupid and had Atlas Shrugs in his browser history, then by all accounts, Lynch could arrest me based on this new policy. And I declared, ‘Come and get me, biatch.’”

She then turned a critical eye directly to the president, and wrote: 

“If Obama wants to go to war against the American people, I say, bring it on. Jihadists wage jihad in order to impose sharia and they have succeeded. Terror in the White House.”
