CHRISTIANITY TO TODAY: A MICRO HISTORY
Exclusive: Craige McMillan offers only solution as 'humanity tries to fix itself'
It’s impossible to know what other people think about in their private lives, unless of course you’re Google, a psychiatrist or a novelist.
Google, you can be sure, will never tell. Not unless you are the government, the police or an advertiser with an open wallet. Psychiatrists never tell; their job is to listen. And a novelist? Well, we tell everybody. Only the names and places are changed to protect the sources of future human foibles.
Christianity during its heyday sought to emphasize the good within humanity, and repress the bad. In the “good for society” column that led to exquisite music, paintings, architecture, literature and theater that have been enjoyed by countless people for hundreds of years.
On the bad side, it led to the rise of psychiatry, which claimed that repressing all our bad thoughts only moved the internal struggle to a deeper level where it was even more dangerous, and made us all crazy, too.
I guess that brings us to the present.
Today we see Christianity in decline, with occasional glimpses of it in drag in the oldest and most esteemed institutions. News reports in a world increasingly devoid of Christian thought repression highlight the tragedies that result from human greed, selfishness, violence and letting our inner child run wild and naked for all to see in the public square.
Psychiatrists are still listening.
The long arm of the law has reached out to make it all right, by telling us what is permissible within the wide spectrum of human relationships (see California’s new dating law). What was illegal a generation or two ago is now encouraged, if not required, by legislation from Congress, the executive or the judiciary.
And God? Oh, He’s having a good laugh, chiefly at our expense as He watches humanity try to fix itself (see Psalm 2, any translation). Why is it funny to Him? Because He has already offered the only solution there can ever be for the human condition. But “free gift” and repentance just doesn’t compute on our end. We have to fix it ourselves. Then we can have a chat with God on equal terms.
The elites have put their faith in technology, which is why they have been bankrupting us to pay for it. It’s going to fight our wars, work in our factories, extend our physical lives and finally give us eternal consciousness within a Google account (hurry, limit one to a customer).
And Satan? Oh, he’s very busy. He promised Eve back in the garden that he could protect us from all this, that we would be just like God, and he’s trying his best to make good on those two promises. But despite his intelligence and experience, as a created being he has his limitations. But he has a plan, and he has been working it diligently for a very long time. It’s almost ready. Are you?
This is how it starts.

(Mark 10:18) All of human history is a demonstration of that reality. Yet, the godless, Secular Humanists, deceived by Satan, tell us they have the answer. Their answer will take most of humanity to the Lake of Fire.
