Cheapened Christianity and fraudulent faith
A.J. Castellitto - Renew America
"Set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy.' "
I have a bad habit of entertaining things that present themselves as "Christian." Unfortunately, once you get past the label (a mere marketing and recruitment ploy), there is little left in terms of faithful distinction for those things deceptively deemed 'Christian.'
I'm not saying there must never be differences in evangelistic approach (or a certain level of modernism), but not at the expense of godly character and holy separation. Like it or not, the spotlight is upon us. How often does a secularized avenue to Jesus venture off unto godless heresy.
The churches have been infiltrated and it's congregants seduced by the vain offerings of secular deceits. Fame and notoriety is the attractive alternative to humble obedience for the shallow convert. As Christians are martyred and persecuted across the globe, the American Christian is mired in earthly dross and idolatry. The youth are especially impressionable and vulnerable >>>

We are witnessing a watering down, trivializing, and falsification of Christianity in practice, presentation and application (like we've never seen). Ultimately, spiritual faith AND sensual exploration are not compatible.
Jesus didn't die for our sins so that we can make fools of ourselves. The world might think we're cool, but in the end, the only ones we're fooling are ourselves.
If we're ever going to wake up nationally, we must first do so spiritually.....
"All flesh is like grass
and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
and the flower falls,
but the word of the Lord remains forever."
