What
we want will determine the whole course of our lives.
If
our wants consist of satisfying our natural desires
That
will be the extent of our achievement.
If
we understand that we do not live by bread alone,
That
the satisfaction of our natural desires does not fulfill our souls,
Then
we will seek that which transcends the natural;
That
which does in fact, satisfy our souls.
We
are beings created by God to worship Him;
To ultimately become ONE with Him.
God
is the only Way, the only Truth and the only LIFE that exists.
As
for God His ways are Perfect the Word of the Lord is Flawless.
We
cannot change this reality.
The
only real fulfillment any of us can find is in God
Because
He created us that way.
We
cannot change this reality.
We
were created for Paradise
And
we will never be fulfilled until we are there again.
King
David knew what he wanted:
One
thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek:
That
I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To
gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His Temple.
(Psalm
27:4)
I
said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord;
Apart
from you I have no good thing.' (Psalm 16:2-3)
Whom
do I have in Heaven but You?
And
being with You, I desire nothing on earth. (Psalm 73:25)
King
David was a man after God's own heart;
He
understood the reality of this life;
That
what he was looking for, that which was of ultimate value,
That
which satisfies the soul, was not to be found on earth but in Heaven,
In
the Kingdom of God;
The
Kingdom of God which is inside of those who belong to Christ Jesus.
He
also understood that he could live in the Kingdom of God while on
earth:
He
who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will
rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I
will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress,
My
God in whom I trust...
He
will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find
refuge;
His
faithfulness will be your shield and rampart...
If
you make the Most High your dwelling even the Lord,
Who
is my refuge--
Then
no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
(Psalm
91)
Christ
Jesus said:
Remain
in Me and I will remain in you. (John 15:4)
For
IN Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)
The
apostle Paul said:
I
WANT to know Christ and the power of His resurrection
And
the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings,
Becoming
like Him in His death, and so, somehow,
To
attain to the resurrection from the dead. (Philippians 3:10-11)
Now
this is Eternal LIFE: that they may KNOW You, the only true God,
And
Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. (John 17:3)
Since,
then, you have been raised with Christ,
Set
your hearts on things above,
Where
Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set
your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
For
you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
When
Christ, Who is your LIFE appears,
Then
you also will appear with Him in Glory. (Colossians 3:1-4)
Christ
Jesus warns us ALL:
Behold,
I AM coming soon! My reward is with Me,
And
I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
I AM
the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last,
The
Beginning and the END. (Revelation 22:12-13)
Today,
the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
America
is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save
yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As
God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father,
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
