The
Manifest Presence of God is The Seal Of God's Approval!
Last
night as we had a special night of worship and began praying for each
other in a “Glory Tunnel.” A number of people were “slain in the
Spirit.” This brought to mind how much we depend on The Manifest
Presence Of God.
The
ministry of Christ Jesus revealed The Manifest Presence Of God.
That
is what cause the people to listen to Him.
When
Jesus turned the water into wine the Scripture says;
He
revealed His Glory and His disciples put their faith in Him.
(John
2:11)
The
miracle of turning the water into wine
Was
the revelation of Christ's Glory;
The
revelation of The Manifest Presence Of God.
On
The Day Of Pentecost, God put His Seal Of Approval on the 120
Who
waited in the Upper Room at the command of Christ Jesus,
And
God gave them New Birth, and Birth to His Church.
After
this, God put His Seal Of Approval on the disciples of Christ Jesus
As
His Manifest Presence went with them, as they went forth,
In
obedience to The Great Commission of Christ Jesus
And
they did the same miracles that Christ Jesus had done.
This
pattern has followed to this day.
Those
who walk in obedience to Christ Jesus
Will
manifest The Presence Of God,
And
the same miracles Christ Jesus did will occur again;
The
Manifest Presence Of God will be with them;
They
will manifest The Seal Of God's Approval.
The
Old Testament Prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel
Among
others, understood this reality; It propelled their lives.
Moses
understood this reality when he went to see the bush
That
burned but was not consumed.
Joshua
understood this reality when he met the Captain of the Lord's army
On
the plains of Jericho. (Joshua 5:13-15)
The
Virgin Mary understood this reality
When
she was told she would bear the Christ child.
The
apostle Paul understood this reality when he saw a light from heaven
And
fell to the ground. (Acts 9)
These
are a few of the many encounters with The Manifest Presence Of
God
People
have had as recorded in the Scriptures.
From
The Day of Pentecost on, these encounters have continued to this day;
The
Almighty God revealing Himself to people by His Presence.
Many
Christians today, have experienced the Presence of the Lord.
Many
have been baptized in the Holy Spirit and with fire
As
did the 120 on the Day of Pentecost.
Many
have been to meetings where the Presence of God was manifest;
Where
God revealed His Glory in their midst.
Moses
met with God continually and spoke to Him face to face. (Exodus 33)
God
consecrated the meetings at the Tent Of Meeting, with His Glory.
(Exodus
29)
Access
to the Presence of God is Worship In Spirit And In TRUTH
When
this occurs there will be the Manifest Presence Of God!
That
is why God seeks those who will do so!
God
Will Not Come Into A Tiny Christian BOX!
God
will not come and manifest His Presence
In
a tiny Christian BOX, no matter how elegantly proficient it is.
The
Presence Of God is manifested only when the heart of a congregation
Matches that of His Own.
An
altar made to God will not be touched by the hands of man!
It
will be created by the Spirit of God alone!
David
witnessed the continual Presence of God
Because
His heart matched the heart of God.
David's
whole existence was based on his faith, hope and trust in God.
When
the worship of a congregation reflects this reality;
When
the heart of a congregation matches the heart of God,
They
will experience The Manifest Presence Of God;
The
Ultimate Human Experience!
The
only outward, visible, tangible thing that Christians have the
That
the world does not have is The Manifest Presence Of God.
Moses
said to the Lord:
'If
your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.
How
will anyone know that You are pleased with me
And
with Your people unless You go with us?
What
else will distinguish me and Your people
From
all the other people on the face of the earth?' (Exodus
33:15-6)
The
fact is that without The Manifest Presence Of God;
Without
God's Seal Of Approval,
No
one can know outwardly, that there is validity to the Christian
faith!
