That the Bank of England's Governor Sir Mervyn King states:
"This is the most serious financial crisis we've seen,
At least since the 1930's, if not ever.
We're having to deal with very unusual circumstances,
But to act calmly to this and to do the right thing."
My comments are as follows:
The United Kingdom and all the nations of the world
Are in deep economic trouble,
Having spent themselves into overwhelming debt, "playing god;"
Trying to create their own, heaven on earth.
Making promises they cannot keep.
They are in this situation
Because they have rejected God and His Christ Jesus.
Their only hope out of this mess is to repent and turn to Christ Jesus.
When the nations reject God and His Christ,
God gives them over to the deceitfulness of their hearts;
They are given over to Satan and his wiles;
Satan who came to steal, kill and destroy, which is exactly what he is doing.
When the nations reject the God of Creation,
They put themselves completely in the hands of Satan
And become his puppets.
Christ Jesus said:
Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong;
Let him who is vile continue to be vile;
Let him who does right continue to do right;
And let him who is holy continue to be holy. (Revelation 22:10-11)
Let the people of God turn to God with all their hearts;
That is the only hope for anyone or any nation.
