Another disturbing military whistleblower report reveals yet more deceptions by Joe Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) concerning the lawless vaccine mandates and the massive injuries suffered by our military service members as a result.  This debacle has been tragic—and even treasonous. Katie* has served our country for years in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, putting in the work required to achieve the senior rank of Master Sergeant.

When Katie arrived for her monthly drill duty in September of 2021, she was informed of Joe Biden’s shot mandate for all troops. 

Katie dutifully worked with her unit’s chaplain to formulate and submit a religious accommodation request (RAR) from the jab, as is her right under the First Amendment and the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA).

Two weeks later, Katie and the other unvaccinated reservists in her company were brought to the brass’ office for some “education” on the jabs and their choices. 

In fact, they were given no choice—just get the jab or get out!
 

Don’t let Biden run Christians out of the military!

Her chain of command then used this “education” opportunity to deceive and outright lie to the reluctant reservists in hope of convincing them to take the COVID jabs.

The reservists were told that derogatory information about the vaccine was nothing more than Russian and Chinese “disinformation.” 

When reservists asked about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, or the illegal use of Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) injections in place of a fully licensed FDA vaccine, the chain of command stated that these concerns were just more “disinformation” and immediately shut down the conversation.

The reservists, including Katie, were told in no uncertain terms that even a request for a religious exemption would be a career-ending move. “Not being vaccinated is not conducive to military service,” Katie was told.

Everyone in the room understood a dishonorable discharge from the military is the equivalent of a felony in the civilian world. 

It’s a lifelong career killer inside or outside the military.

Katie believed her career was over and her future in jeopardy unless she gave up her religious accommodation pursuit and took the shot.

Katie cried all the way to the clinic the morning she went for the shot. When the nurse asked her what kind of COVID shot she wanted, Katie said she would only take the fully licensed, FDA-approved Pfizer shot.

Unbeknownst to Katie, the injection that went into her arm was not the fully licensed Comirnaty shot, but an EUA shot.

Katie suffered a headache and felt like she had the flu after taking the first shot, but her symptoms resolved in a few days. 

Katie had no idea the danger that awaited with her next shot.

After the second jab, Katie began suffering a severe headache and fatigue. 

She went home to try to sleep it off, but matters continued to get worse. When Katie tried to get out of bed at 1 a.m., her vision was blurry and erratic. 

The walls and floor seemed to jump up and down. 

Objects seemed to waver and float like a desert mirage.

When she tried to rise, she fell off the bed. 

When she tried to use the bathroom, she fell again. 

She found she could not trust her balance or her vision. 

Desperate and afraid, Katie had to crawl on her hands and knees across the room. 

She clawed her way back onto the bed and asked her husband for help.

The next day, Katie’s symptoms were no better. 

In fact, they were worse. 

A fence she knew to be 4 feet high appeared to be impossibly tall, even double the size. 

Weirder still, whatever was happening with Katie’s eyes was making the fence appear to be jumping up and down. 

The ground did not look much better as it appeared to be rolling and undulating under her feet. 

The shifting visages meant Katie could not even balance when walking.

Katie was rushed to the emergency room. 

Tests revealed that the shots she received led to a series of four consecutive and debilitating strokes.

Now Katie cannot see properly, cannot drive the heavy machinery the Air Force trained her to operate and cannot even walk on her own unassisted. 

Adding insult to injury, Katie’s brain injury also makes it difficult to organize and articulate her thoughts. 

Doctors cannot say whether the stroke damage to Katie’s brain stem will ever heal, or if her vision or ability to walk will ever return. 

All this because Joe Biden’s DOD LIED.

They have fought for us, now let’s fight for them!

They lied about the legal protections available for religious accommodation seekers. 

They lied about the “safety and efficacy” of the shots. 

And they even lied about exactly which shots they gave Katie.

Sadly, Katie is not alone. 

She is just one of the many service members who have been lied to, abused and seriously injured by Joe Biden’s infamous military jab mandate.

But Katie and her fellow shot-injured military personnel are not staying quiet about their plight. 

She and several of her colleagues have become “whistleblowers,” seeking congressional protection for exposing the deadly dealings Joe Biden and his lawless DOD are perpetuating on our brave military heroes.

Liberty Counsel is fighting for justice in the courts. 

We just won class action certification and classwide protection for the U.S. Marines. 

Now we have classwide injunctions for four of the six branches (Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Marines).

Has America Succumbed to What C.S. Lewis Called 'Chronological Snobbery?'

Are we living in the last moments of human history? Is the whole world about to explode? Has America ever been in a worse condition than it is now?

Certainly, we are living in chaotic times, times of trouble and upheaval. But how bad are things, really? How dire is the condition of the world?

There is a mindset that C. S. Lewis called "chronological snobbery" which he defined as "the uncritical acceptance of the intellectual climate of our own age and the assumption that whatever has gone out of date is on that count discredited."

In other words, if it's newer, it must be better.

The exact opposite of this concept is the idea that if it's newer, it must be worse. Society is not what it used to be. Families are not what they used to be. Morality is not what it used to be. Education is not what it used to be. Everything is on the decline!

But are things really that simple? Can we make such blanket statements?

Andrew Klavan, who was born in 1954, was describing his early days with the Daily Wire team, which included much younger men like Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles.

Klavan wrote, "sometimes the younger guys would say things like, 'This is the most divided era in American history,' and I'd say, you know, between the ages of 10 and 14, I saw the President of the United States murdered by a communist, his senator brother murdered by a Palestinian and the greatest civil rights leader of the age gunned down by a racist pornographer. To me, things look pretty chill. I think that was useful to keep the rhetoric in check and align our feelings with reality."

Of course, it's easy to think that America is the worst it's ever been. Doesn't it often feel like that?

After all, when is the last time we've been this politically polarized? When have we had to deal with LGBTQ extremism? When have we faced such uncertainty about the future? What about the horrific school massacres? What about the dangers of cancel culture and wokeness? What about the racial divisions? What about the plague of porn? And the epidemic of fentanyl overdoses? The list goes on and on.

Still, as Klavan said, we need to "align our feelings with reality." How bad are things, really?

The fact is that some things are the worst they've ever been in our nation's history, such as the ubiquity of porn or the rise of radical transgender activism.

On the other hand, other things are better than they've been in decades, such as the strength of the pro-life movement, from the overturning of Roe v. Wade to the passing of pro-life legislation in state after state. And despite the racial tension we're living with, things are certainly far better today for Black Americans than they were prior to 1964, let alone prior to 1865.

It's true that we're having serious economic struggles. But Americans today, on average, live in far more luxurious conditions than previous generations, and we're nowhere near the times of the Great Depression.

And despite the deadly uptick in certain drug overdoses and the legalizing of pot, illicit drug use is lower today than in past decades, as is violent crime. (The murder rate in big cities is back to where it was 25 years ago, but again, that just means things have been really bad before.)

As for being a divided nation, which we are, we are nowhere nearly as divided as we were immediately before and after the Civil War.

Even our colleges and universities, many of which had strong Christian foundations and most of which have swung far to the left, have had bad days before. As revival historian James Edwin Orr noted in one of his lectures, after the Revolutionary War, America experienced a period of spiritual decline.

Things got so bad on some of our campuses that not a single professing Christian could be found at Harvard, which was founded for the glory of God. At Princeton, only two believers were found and only five students who did not belong to the filthy speech movement.

Students rioted on some campuses and, on one occasion, took a Bible from a church and burned it. Orr even states that Christian students were so few on some campuses that they met in secret, and recorded their meeting notes in code lest they should be discovered. This really happened in our country! (I strongly encourage you to take 25 minutes to watch this old lecture by Dr. Orr. He also mentions how Thomas Paine joyfully repeated Voltaire's words that Christianity would be forgotten in 30 years.)

As for the state of the world today, we are actually living in one of the more peaceful times in history, despite Russia's ongoing war with Ukraine. Just compare things today with the worldwide upheaval and massive loss of life during World Wars I and II. Or consider the tens of millions of lives snuffed out due to the policies of Stalin and Mao.

Even in the Middle East, Israel has friendlier relations with more of its neighbors than at any time since its reestablishment in 1948.

To be sure, the whole world is like a tinder box ready to explode. And there is more potential for some kind of global government than ever, not to mention a potentially catastrophic "Great Reset."

On the other hand, the gospel is spreading through the nations at an unprecedented rate, and the church is experiencing its greatest growth in history.

To borrow the words of Dickens, these are the best of times and the worst of times. These are times for great concern and great hope.

These are times of great shaking, of powerful spiritual outpouring and of intense demonic activity.

These are critical times in which the scales could tip either way, quite dramatically and suddenly, in the days ahead.

Let us be vigilant. Let us be active. Let us seize the moment.

As one of my missionary colleagues has said, "This may not be the last generation, but it's our last generation."

Let us use these times for the glory of God. These are the only times we have.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL – AUGUST 23, 2022 The Glory of Jesus Christ By David Wilkerson

Jesus prayed for his disciples, “That that they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be one in us… And the glory which you gave me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one: I in them, and you in me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them as you have loved me” (John 17:21-23, NKJV). Jesus said, in essence, “The glory that you gave me, Father, I have given to them.” What is this glory that was given to Christ, and how do our lives reveal that glory? It is not some aura or emotion; it is unimpeded access to the heavenly Father. What an amazing thought! Jesus made it easy for us to access through the cross to the Father. “He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father”(Ephesians 2:17-18).  By faith, we’ve come into a place of unimpeded access to God. We’re not like Esther in the Old Testament. She had to wait for a sign from the king before she could approach the throne. Only after he held out his scepter was Esther approved to come forward. By contrast, you and I are already in the throne room. We have the right and privilege of speaking to the King at any time. Indeed, we’re invited to make any request of him.  “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Christ said, “I can do nothing on my own. I do only what the Father tells me and shows me” (see John 5:19).  Today we have been given the same degree of access to the Father that Christ had. You may say, “Wait a minute. I have the same access to the Father that Jesus did?” Make no mistake. Like Jesus, we’re to pray often and fervently, waiting on the Lord. In response, the Holy Spirit reveals to us the mind and will of the Father.

WE MUST TAKE UP OUR CROSS TO FOLLOW JESUS

As we pursue Jesus’ definition for His disciples, we learn it was essential for them to take up their crosses daily and follow Him. True discipleship is a life of sacrifice. It is a daily sacrifice of our own desires to serve Him. Still, to live for Him this way is the greatest, most fulfilling life we can live, regardless of how difficult. And rest assured, this will be the most difficult life we can live. It is a life contrary to all the ways of this world and all the people of this world, as well as of most professing Christians. It is not meant to be easy. It is not easy, but it is worth it.

       Jesus said, “Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:25-26) Our new life in Christ cannot be compared to our former life of living for ourselves. His ways are infinitely higher than ours, and there is no greater life we could live than to be His disciples. However, He is the Truth, and we must not lie to those considering following Him saying, “It will be easy.” We must instead be forthright in telling them, “This will be the most difficult life they can live, but also the best.”

Anything that eclipses our devotion to Christ is an idol. Yes, it is important to be a good spouse, parent, or worker. In fact, the greater our devotion to Christ, the more these are all elevated in importance because everything we do is for Him, and everything we do for our King requires our greatest devotion and excellence.

However, if the second commandment, to love one another, begins to eclipse our first devotion, to love God above all, our devotion to the second commandment will become defiled and our service to God tainted at best. If this continues, our devotion to others will become an object of worship in place of Him. He must be our first love and our first devotion.

Jesus will consider our marriages, professions, and everything else as part of our discipleship, if we keep them in proper alignment behind our devotion to Him. We keep these in order by doing all as worship unto Him. When we go to work, we do it for Christ—not for our boss, the company, or a paycheck. We do it for our King. In Christ, marriage and family are some of the greatest gifts we can receive from God, but they are also means by which we can learn how He leads and cares for His family.

When Jesus called His disciples, they all had to leave their jobs or professions. This is still a requirement to be His disciple. However, He may leave us in our job or profession as a part of our discipleship or curriculum for learning from Him. Still, a profound change must come to what we do and why we do it. Our focus and ambition in life can no longer be success in our profession or any advance or accolade this may provide. We should want to be the best in our profession because it is our service to the Lord, who deserves the best.

Thus, the best disciples of Christ are more likely to be successful because of their higher devotion. However, success must not be our main goal, rather learning from Jesus and becoming like Him must be our highest goal.

A disciple must also be ready to leave anything behind when called upon, including their physical life. For a disciple, our purpose is first and foremost to follow the Lord and to do His will. If, at any point, a disciple is called to leave their profession, they will.

For those who are content like most to “follow from afar,” there is certainly more benefit to this than not following Him at all. But they should not deceive themselves or others to think they are paying the full price when they are not. Was that not the sin of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5? They wanted to be counted with those who were giving, while holding back a part of the price. Holding back was not the sin; lying was. We are all called to speak the truth in all things, especially to God.

Since the tragic events of 9/11, America has felt like it was in a dream state.

There have been meaningful movements of God, but Christians have been on the losing side of the culture war for many years.

The warnings were there when the government proclaimed marriage included same-sex couples, even as many who viewed themselves as Christians accepted this as well.

Next, the attack on the identity of what is male and female, began. 

The enemy took the very essence of who we are as humans, created in God's image, male and female. The idea that gender was fluid and you could change what you were at a whim took many by surprise. While some voices had tried to warn the masses, it was not enough to prepare Christian communities for what happened next.

Then the children were targeted. 

Kindergarteners were being taught that being queer was the norm. This indoctrination is evident in the percentage of Gen Z'ers who identify as LGBTQ compared to previous generations.

Gallop did a poll in 2021 that listed each generation and what proportion self-identified as LGBTQ, and the results show the plan to teach children that God's binary order for nature is wrong has worked:

• Gen Z: 20.8%
• Millennials: 10.5%
• Generation X: 4.2%
• Baby Boomers: 2.6%
• The Greatest Generation: .8%

These numbers are only expected to go up in the coming years.

There has been push-back from the Christian community, and political figures have risen to challenge this indoctrination from weaponized unions, school boards and the medical community who push to have this and CRT material distributed to students.

Parents are waking up to this influencing of their children, and change appears to be in the air.

On Tuesday, Aug. 16, The Kettle Moraine School Board voted unanimously to maintain a policy that prohibits teachers and staff from displaying gay pride flags and any other material that could be construed as political.

This is not the time for Christians to gloat and revel in a victory however, it is time to move forward with this momentum. It is time to shut down the emerging talks of legalizing the actions of "minor attracted persons," which is to say pedophiles, from entering our courts.

It is time to prepare our hearts and repent before the Lord for our own sins. 

It is easy to point to the sins of others, but we must not allow pride and hubris to enter into our own hearts. We must be filled with the fruit of the Spirit during this time, because these people pushing false agendas are not our enemies, the spirits and principalities behind them are.

This must be a time for prayer, repentance and fasting on a national level to see the movement of God that will help renew and heal this broken country.

This is a battle that we cannot win, but God can. Jesus is the mender of broken lives, hearts and minds. He can heal not just the land but the people in it, and Christians are called to be His representatives on earth.

As school boards, churches, politicians, media outlets and average citizens are waking up to what is happening on the social, political, ideological and economic level, it is time for the most important awakening to happen—that is spiritually.

When there is a spiritually dry and barren populace, who have a yearning for God in their lives even if they don't realize that is what they are missing, the time is right for Christians to hit their knees in prayer, praise and repentance to usher in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
