What Itching Ears Want To Hear!

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, 
They will gather around them a great number of teachers 
To say what their itching ears want to hear. 
They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 
(2 Timothy 4:3-4) 

Here, the apostle Paul is speaking to the Church of God. 
In every generation there have been apostates 
That speak what itching ears want to hear. 
What do itching ears want to hear today? 
Do Christians today gather around those leaders 
Who tell them what they want to hear? 
Yes, they do, and to their peril. 
We are in the last moment of the LAST DAY. 
Yet, who is blowing the trumpet in Zion?

There are preachers who say 
That THE END is so far away as to be on no concern for us today.
Really! Of no concern!
They will be among the most surprised
When their Lord comes like a thief as He has promised.
They will be as surprised as the Pagans.

From the least to the greatest all are greedy for gain;
Prophets and priests alike all practice deceit.
They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious.
'Peace, peace,'  they say when there is no peace.
Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct?
No, they have no shame at all,
They do not even know how to blush
So they will fall among the fallen;
They will be brought down when I punish them, says the Lord

This is what the Lord says:
'Stand at the crossroads and look;
Ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, 
And walk in it,
And you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'

I appointed watchmen over you and said,
'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!'
But you said, 'We will not listen.'

Therefore hear, O nations observe, O witnesses, 
What will happen to them.
Hear, O earth: I am bringing disaster on this people,
The fruit of their schemes, 
Because they have not listened to My words,
And have rejected My LAW.
(Jeremiah 6:13-19)  
  
The Word of God is an open Book to the Church of God, to every Christian, 
And to every nation on earth.
Those who are of a humble and contrite spirit and tremble at His Word,
Understand what God is speaking today;
This is the Bride That Christ Jesus bled and died for;
The rest have chosen their own way, which is no way at all.

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha! 

Set Your Hearts On Things Above!

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, 
Set your hearts on things above, 
Where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is your LIFE, appears 
Then you will appear with Him in Glory.

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:
Sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these;
Anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Do not lie to each other, 
Since you have taken off your old self with its practices
And have put on the new self, 
Which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, 
Barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, 
But Christ is all, and is in all [God's chosen people].

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, 
Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness 
And patience.
Bear with each other 
And forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. 
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love, 
Which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, 
Since as members of one body you were called to peace.
And be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly 
As you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, 
And as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs 
With gratitude in your hearts to God.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, 
Do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
Giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:1-17)

Here, the apostle Paul, gives the prescription for LIFE in Christ.
The only Eternal LIFE.
Christ Jesus has enabled every Christian to be water washed, blood washed, 
Filled with the Spirit and walking in His Light.

How do we walk in the Light of Christ?
By setting our hearts on things above!
If we belong to Him, we have died 
And our life is now hidden with Christ in God.
We live in the blessed hope, that when Christ who is our LIFE appears
He will bring us to Himself in Glory.

The world around us is hopeless, helpless and condemned;
Although there is all hope for everyone who turns to Christ.
The world is mired down in sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires 
And greed, which is idolatry.
Because of these, the heart set of the world,
The wrath of God is coming!

Simply living for Christ, is the greatest evangelism we can do.
Our lives, lived for Christ, speaks louder than any words that can be spoken.

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

The Blessed Ones!

In all this fallen world there are only a few who are blessed.

They have found the “narrow way,” the WAY of Christ Jesus.

They have found the TRUTH, by Christ Jesus their teacher.

They have found the only LIFE that exists,

The Eternal LIFE found only “in Christ.”

Christ Jesus spoke about these blessed ones in His Sermon on The Mount.

Now when He saw the crowds, He went up on a mountainside and sat down.

His disciples came to Him, and He began to teach them, saying:

'Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, 

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you

And falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in Heaven,

For in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

(Matthew 5:1-12)

You are the salt of the earth.

But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?

It is no longer good for anything,

Except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

[This is a prophetic utterance that has relationship to the Book of Revelation.

The apostle John is told:

'Go measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there.

But exclude the outer court; do not measure it,

Because it has been given to the Gentiles.

They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.' (Revelation 11:1-2)

Those in the outer court of God's Temple (Church),

Those who were washed, but did not become priests;

Who, did not change their garments for those of a priest;

Who, therefore, did not put on the garments of Christ;

Who, were not anointed with the oil of the Holy Spirit;

Who, did not worship God in His Spirit and in His Truth,

Are given over to the Gentiles to be trampled upon.

For the 42 months of The Great Tribulation.]

You are the light of the world.

A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before men,

That they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.

(Matthew 5:13-16)

The Light of Christ Jesus has shown in every generation since His resurrection.

It is shining in this generation by those who belong to Him;

His Bride shines with His glory and She will be taken into glory at His return.

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

The Day Of God!

The Day of God is fast approaching. 

It is described in detail in the Book of Joel. Please read it! 
THAT DAY renders all the efforts of man meaningless and futile! All of them!
Just as they were found meaningless and futile in the day of Noah.
All the work of man was wiped out. 
Our so called modernity, technology, 
And scientific advancements are meaningless to God. 
All of this is child's play to God.

Man's scientific achievements, that which he glories in, 
Leads him to the brink of annihilation, 
Because men are deceived and their hearts are hard. 
If Christ did not return mankind would self-annihilate. 
What is in your heart is all that matters! 
The only thing that will matter on THAT DAY 
Will be your relationship with Christ. 
That's all that will matter. Nothing else! Nothing else will matter!

If your loved ones are found “in Christ,” Hallelujah! 
If they are not, you will not remember them. 
The ability of those you love to see you living for Christ 
Is the only thing that you can do for them. 
Your witness before them is powerful! 
God is continually speaking to them and they either respond to Him or not. 
It is their choice! Everyone has a choice! 
You must not allow them to drag you into apostasy and rebellion against God.

The only ones found “in Christ,” 
Will be those who loved Him with all their heart, mind soul and strength.
Those who can say with King David:
 
One thing I ask, this is what I seek 
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life 
To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord And seek Him in His temple.
(Psalm 27:4)

Whom have I in Heaven but you? 
And being with you, I desire nothing on earth. (Psalm 73:25)

I said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord; Apart from you I have no good thing.'
(Psalm 16:2)

Those who worship God in Spirit and in Truth.

Those who have been crucified with Christ to this world and no longer live, 
But it is Christ who lives in them. 
This life that they now live is by faith in the Son of God 
And His power at work in them. 
They have set their hearts on things above, 
Their lives are hidden with Christ in God, 
They have clothed themselves with the garments of Christ 
And let His Word dwell richly in them.

All the “gods” of this world will be judged, 
Just as all the “gods” of Egypt were judged. All of them! 
Everything that man has exalted above the God of Heaven will be judged! 
All of man's idols will fall, never to rise again!

Let those who are humble and contrite in heart, tremble at His Word! 
(Isaiah 66:2)

'Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.' (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Today, Like The Day Of Christ!

Today, is like the day of Christ.

The Nation Israel, the Church of that day,

Had been anticipating the coming of their Messiah for many years

As foretold by Scripture.

They were a very religious people.

Their religious leaders had memorized the Pentateuch,

The first five books of the Scripture.

They decorated the graves of the prophets,

Most of whom their forefathers had killed

For proclaiming the Word of the Lord.

They claimed that they would not have done such a terrible thing.

Then, they proceeded to kill the Prophet of Prophets,

Christ Jesus, their Messiah.

Christ Jesus said of the religious leaders of His day:

You diligently study the Scriptures

Because you think that by them you possess Eternal LIFE.

These are the Scriptures that testify about Me,

Yet you refuse to come to Me to have LIFE. (John 5:39-40)

Today, we have completed Scriptures that tell of the Second Coming

Of Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yet, there is great confusion in the Church of God,

As to how this will take place.

Christ Jesus says of The Book Of Revelation:

Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy,

And blessed are those who hear it and take to heart

What is written in it, because the time is near. (Revelation 1:3)

Since Christ Jesus is no respecter of persons,

He means that anyone can read this prophecy

And take to heart what is written in it.

This means that anyone who believes in Him

Can be ready for His Second Coming.

When Christ Jesus came to the Church of His day,

He was rejected by most.

He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name,

He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:11-12)

However, there were a little band of believers, including the first apostles,

Who believed that He was who He said He was, the Christ of God.

This little band was increased after The Day Of Pentecost,

And has been increasing ever since.

So, today, there will be believers

Who take to heart what is written in the Scriptures,

And will be ready to receive Christ Jesus when He returns.

They will be water washed, blood washed, filled with the Holy Spirit

And walking in the Light of Christ Jesus.

They will be crucified with Christ to this world and no longer live,

But it will be Christ who lives in them.

This life that they now live will be by faith in the Son of God

And His power at work in them.

They will have set their hearts on things above,

Their lives will be hidden with Christ in God,

They will have clothed themselves with the garments of Christ

And let His Word dwell richly in them.

These are those who will be able to receive Christ Jesus when He returns.

The parable of the Ten Virgins tells us that perhaps as many as half the Church will not be ready to receive Him. (Matthew 25:1-13)

Christ Jesus said:

'Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,'

Will enter the Kingdom of Heaven,

Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord,

Did we not prophesy in Your name,

And in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?

Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.

Away from me, you evildoers!' (Matthew 7:22-23)

These are Christians who do the works of Christ to exalt themselves.

We know that one will be taken and one will remain. (Matthew 24:36-51)

Christ Jesus said:

Therefore keep watch,

Because you do not know on what day your Lord will come....

So you also must be ready,

Because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. (Matthew 24:42-44)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

The Silence that Shatters America

Satan Overwhelming Humanity

Today, Satan is overwhelming humanity; every nation is overwhelmed.

They are godless, deceived, and cannot keep up

With the barrage of events natural and man made they try to cope with.

The nations are bankrupt, morally, socially, politically and economically.

They have turned from God and God has given them up to their wickedness.

This is Satan's set up for the revealing of his son, the Antichrist.

The world will soon be in total turmoil

And begging for someone with an answer.

The Scripture says that when the foundations are being destroyed

What can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3)

This is the God sent delusion I have been warning about:

The coming of the Lawless One will be in accordance with the work of Satan

Displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,

And in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.

They perish because they refused to love the Truth and so be saved.

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion

So that they will believe the LIE

And so that all will be condemned who have not believe the Truth

But have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Speaking of this same situation, the Lord Jesus said:

For false Christs and false prophets will appear

And perform great signs and miracles

To deceive even the Elect—if that were possible.

See, I have told you ahead of time. (Matthew 24:24)

Most of humanity will be carried away in this deception.

Only those Christians who are in right relationship with Christ,

The Elect, will not be deceived.

Christ Jesus said further:

You will be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives and friends,

And they will put some of you to death.

All men will hate you because of Me.

But not a hair of your head will perish.

By standing firm you will save yourselves. (Luke 21:16-18)

I believe that the only ones who will stand in this final trial

Will be those who can say with King David:

One thing I ask, this is what I seek

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

All the days of my life

To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord

And seek Him in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)

Whom have I in Heaven but you?

And being with you, I desire nothing on earth. (Psalm 73:25)

I said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord;

Apart from you I have no good thing.' (Psalm 16:2)

Christ Jesus said:

When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)

The sad fact is that He will not find much.

Nevertheless, He will have a Bride

Who loves Him with all her heart, mind, soul and strength.

She will be kept from the hour of trial

That is going to come upon the whole world

To test those who live on the earth. (Revelation 3:10) Hallelujah!

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
