Jesus said He has gone to Heaven to prepare a place for His children and that He is coming back at the last day to gather up all of His children so that we may live where He lives.

“In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)

When He comes, He will first call the righteous dead to life. Then, those people who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the air to meet our Lord.

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

However, until He returns, He lives within us to the very end of the world through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

“Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Take advantage of God’s mercy while there is still time.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12)

On Saturday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m., the First Christian Church of Katy, Texas, will host a "Drag Bingo" event for all ages.

This church is a member of the Disciples of Christ denomination, which promotes gender and sexuality affirmation, LGBTQ "marriages" and hosts a "Disciples LGBTQ+ Alliance" within their congregations. The "Drag Bingo" event, while claiming to be a drag event, is hosting several men who have had transgender surgeries.

To say this is an affront to the Lord, in the guise of openness, inclusion and love, does not convey the righteous anger and hurt this brings to God's heart for His creation. He loves each and every individual that is wrongly promoting this event, and yearns for their repentance and spiritual transformation in Him.

God's grace, love and mercy know no bounds, but there comes a point when He pulls them back, and His punishment and wrath are released. The Bible affirms this throughout the Old and New Testaments. When His people continuously grieve His Spirit, and are unrepentant of their sins, there are biblical consequences for those actions. Satan knows how much this event will grieve the Lord, because it is aimed at children and taking place in a building with Jesus' name on it.

Hosting an event that includes VIP tickets for various numbers of seats, bingo cards, drink vouchers, food, swag and "more," whatever that entails, bears the markings of a nightclub, not a church. When the event begins at 5:30 p.m., all ages are welcome. There is a shift in the programming however at 8:30 p.m. when it becomes an "Adults 18+" event. Why is a church hosting an event that has to clarify the content presented is not child-friendly? To compare this to a conference for adults like marriage conferences and youth conferences is folly and disingenuous.

Also, just how many parents who brought their children are going to take them home and come back? It appears the intent is for children to be there for what happens after 8:30 p.m.

The devil and his minions are fighting a spiritual war against Christ, and His followers must take up that fight. There must be spiritual warfare and fasting against this type of spirit. Believers must stand up to the corruption of Jesus' name, His church and His creation's identity.

Christians must take action and stop sitting on the sideline expecting other people to confront the enemy. Christians must take-up their crosses and prepare to get uncomfortable, because the enemy is coming for every Christian and Christian organization he can get his hands on.

Apostasy is spreading across the world, and it takes the form of things that sound good! But a Christian who is rooted in the Word of God has discernment about what is, and what is not, of God. Satan disguises himself as things of God (2 Cor. 11:14), but there must be knowledge and understanding of the Bible to root out the corrupting messages that Satan is spreading.

The story is not over however, because God is the orchestrater of redemption. These actions will surely raise the ire and anger of Christians, and Satan can use that to further his goals as well. Jesus came and restored the relationship between God and man, He is the Redeemer. He also died for these same people desecrating the name of the Lord. Prayer for them, and against the demons, spirits and principalities will bring about the redemptive grace of God.

It is imperative that people understand that Christians model their lives around the Bible, and not interpret the Bible through the lens of how they live their lives.

War is an unfortunate byproduct of sin in the world. Since creation, there has been fighting and war. God has used armies for His purposes during these conflicts; from the Israelites claiming the promised land to the Allies defeating the Axis powers during World War II.

A functioning military is a necessary deterrent to the evil forces that inhabit this earth. Often people ask how God can allow something, without taking into account that there is a spirit roaming this earth who seeks to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) everything he comes in contact with.

In biblical examples of military conflict and American military victories up to World War II, there is the evidence of God's presence on the battlefield. After World War II however, things started changing.

The movement to remove prayer, and thus God, from public schools began well before 1962 when the Supreme Court made that decision official. Satan had been building up influence in the government for years prior to achieve this goal. With God removed from the schools, and soon the government, how could America expect Him to show up with them on the battlefield?

The Korean War, called the 'Forgotten War,' was not the astounding victory many expected from the victors of World War II. It was not a defeat either, but it should have been a wake-up call about what was happening within the heart of America.

God was not kicked out yet, but He was not revered by American leaders, either. Humanism was taking His place.

The Vietnam War, and the brave men who fought and died in it, saw the first war in American history without God on the battlefield. Vietnam was the quagmire of poor decision-making and ineffective leadership at the highest military and civilian levels. Americans still see to this day the effects that it had on the men who fought in that war, the culture who witnessed it and the forgone conclusion to it: America had lost.

Civilizations go through dark periods during their existence. The 1960s and 1970s were that dark spiritual time for American culture. The devil used social events like the hippie movement, the 'sexual revolution' and racial animosity to sow division within the country.

Were there movements of God within? Absolutely, just as there were believers in God within Israel during Ahab's reign, but the leaderships' hearts were not receptive to the Lord.

Over the years America saw a partial restoration, and a government under Ronald Reagan that acknowledged God and revered Him. This change of heart and attitude saw the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the end to the Cold War. America was victorious again, but it would not last.

Fast-forward to the War on Terror, and Americans witnessed a war that dragged on in a situation reminiscent of Vietnam, with the outcome of Korea. That is until an administration, who has shown repeatedly it is anti-God, approved the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that saw a terrorist organization once thought defeated, seated in power.

The current leadership of the U.S. military is not God-fearing. Are there Christians within the military? Yes, and when they speak up against what is transforming the military, they are subsequently removed without delay. This happened to U.S. Space Force Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, who was removed from command for speaking against critical race theory (CRT) being taught at his installation.

These moves to weaken the American military are orchestrated, and accomplishing the goal of Satan: to have a weakened United States that has turned its back on God.

Current military leadership has tried to justify what they are doing in the name of strength, but the evidence says otherwise. If strength was their goal, there would not be the reduction of physical fitness requirements across the military.

At West Point, the premier military academy in the U.S., lectures titled, "Understanding Whiteness and White Rage" are being taught to cadets using materials marked, "White Power at West Point."

People suffering from gender identity issues are being allowed to enlist, and have their 'transition' surgeries paid for with taxpayer money. This does not achieve the mission of maintaining a combat-ready force.

Radical leftists, like Ibram X. Kendi, are having their CRT focused books placed on reading lists by leadership such as the Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Michael Gilday. For many officers, this is required reading.

All of these course-changing decisions, for the military and federal government, take away time, funding and manpower from maintaining a ready to fight, and properly supplied and funded military.

Despite the negative effects of 'wokeness' and its Marxist roots, there will not, and cannot, be a return to military dominance without God on the battlefield. The Bible illustrates how God won battles for lesser Hebrew forces against mightier, more technologically advanced foes. The Israelites were ready for war, because their hearts were turned toward God.

You have probably noticed that food prices just keep going up at the grocery store.  Many people believe that this is just a temporary phenomenon, and those people would be wrong.  

In fact, things are really going to start going haywire when a lot of the food that is supposed to be on our store shelves in 2023 doesn't show up.  

Of course the reason that food isn't going to be there is because it isn't being grown in 2022.  

This summer, food production in the United States is constantly being slammed by one disaster after another.  

Sadly, most Americans still don't understand that this is going to deeply affect all of us in the months ahead.

Let me start my discussion by talking about the endless drought that is scorching crops all over the western half of the nation.

At this point, it is becoming clear that corn and soybean yields will be way down in 2022...

Drought is shrinking crops from the US Farm Belt to China's Yangtze River basin, ratcheting up fears of global hunger and weighing on the outlook for inflation.

The latest warning flare comes out of the American Midwest, where some corn is so parched stalks are missing ears of grain and soybean pods are fewer and smaller than usual. 

The dismal report from the Pro Farmer Crop Tour has helped lift a gauge of grain prices back to the highest level since June.

In one form or another, corn and soybeans are in thousands upon thousands of products that Americans consume on a daily basis.

If the supply of corn and soybeans is way down, that means that prices will be way up.

Anyone that has taken ECON 101 can figure that out.

Meanwhile, the drought is also taking a devastating toll on ranchers.  

Many of them have been selling off their herds while they still have something to sell, and that has helped keep short-term meat prices stable.

But the size of our national cattle herd just keeps getting smaller and smaller, and that is going to mean much higher beef prices in the years ahead...

In response, ranchers have been forced to sell their animals early, thinning the numbers of older cows. 

By some estimates, US beef-producing cattle herds could be slashed by up to 20% if the ranching industry gets rid of its older, calf-producing cows.

"The implications of fewer cows giving birth to calves are that over the next few years there will be higher beef prices," said Peter Bozzo, vice president of Chef's Warehouse, a food purveyor to high-end restaurants.

Sadly, those in the western half of the nation aren't going to get any relief any time soon.

In fact, it is being reported that a sizzling heat wave will be baking the entire region throughout this week...

Some of the hottest temperatures of the year are on the way for the West Coast and possibly staying dangerously hot through Labor Day as a mega heat wave builds in for the long term.

More than 55 million people are currently under heat alerts from Southern California through the San Joaquin Valley and into portions of the Northwest, including 20 of the most populated cities up and down the West Coast.

"Temperatures could exceed 110F in parts of the Southwest, where an excessive heat warning is currently in effect," the Weather Prediction Center wrote.

Meanwhile, we are witnessing historic flooding along the Mississippi River, and this will have a substantial impact on nearby agricultural production...

Portions of central Mississippi and the lower Mississippi Delta saw more than 1 foot of rain between Aug. 21 and 25, and flash flooding will affect some agricultural commodities in these areas.

At this point, nobody knows how extensive the damage is.

But what we do know is that some crops that were wiped out were literally just about to be harvested...

Numerous row-crop fields were saturated, and preliminary reports suggest that the crops most compromised will be early-planted cotton and soybeans that were nearly ready for harvest before the weather deteriorated.

Switching gears, fish are being killed in vast numbers by an algae bloom that has suddenly erupted along the west coast.

In fact, we are being told that this is the very first algae bloom that has ever been recorded in San Francisco Bay...

Environmental nonprofit San Francisco Baykeeper is reporting that an algae bloom is happening across the San Francisco Bay, something they believe is unprecedented in the history of the bay. 

Additionally, in the past week Baykeeper said it's received an increasing number of reports of dead fish around the bay that the group suspects the algae bloom is to blame.

Baykeeper reported that hundreds of dead fish were visible Sunday at the Oakland Yacht Club. 

On Thursday, Baykeper reported dozens of fish in the middle of the bay between Dumbarton and San Mateo bridges.

Day after day, so many strange things are taking place.

Why do you think this is happening?

Lastly, I wanted to mention the fact that there has been yet another fire at a food production facility in the United States.

This time, it was a poultry business in Montebello, California...

A commercial fire burned a poultry business in Montebello Sunday afternoon.

QC Poultry at 1111 W. Olympic Blvd. sustained building damage, and several commercial vehicles may also have been burned, a spokesperson for the city of Montebello said.

Footage from the scene shows burn damage near the building's windows and doors, as well as at least one unit from the Monterey Park Fire Department present to assist.

As I have detailed in previous articles, in recent months there have been dozens of fires at food production facilities in the United States.

And all of this is happening in the context of a rapidly growing global food crisis that threatens to cause historic famines all over the world for years to come.

Global leaders keep telling us that there will be food shortages in the months ahead.

I am taking those warnings quite seriously, and I believe that all of you should be taking those warnings quite seriously as well.

Children fare best when raised with a mother and father. 

Gender does matter for the well-being of children. Yet, HR 8404 abolishes gender for an objectively gender-based human relationship—marriage. 

The implications are staggering.

Social anthropologist J.D. Unwin’s landmark 1934 study, Sex & Culture, studied 86 cultures (80 primitive tribes and the Roman, Greek, Sumerian, Arabian, Babylonian and Anglo-Saxon civilizations).

Unwin concluded that sexual license and the decline of monogamy lead to irreversible societal collapse.

He observed: “In human records there is no instance of a society retaining its energy after a complete new generation has inherited a tradition which does not insist on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial continence.”

HR 8404 is a direct attack on marriage. The consequences are catastrophic.

HR 8404 already passed in the U.S. House. 

All 50 Senate Democrats support the bill, as do four Republicans, two of whom are co-sponsors of a same-sex marriage bill. 

One Republican, who was a yes, is now a no. 

Others have not yet committed.

With six more votes, HR 8404 will pass. 

This is TOP PRIORITY for Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

We are looking at either seeing people of faith forced out of all leadership positions or denying them the freedom to follow their faith. 

If this bill passes, it would make them choose between bankrupting their souls—or literally bankrupting everything else!

The stakes couldn’t be higher. 

We need to hold our senators' feet to the fire and demand they hold the line against this perversion of marriage. 

Vote NO on HR 8404.

Unwin found that societies thrive and prosper to the extent that culture is committed to prenuptial chastity coupled with “absolute monogamy.” 

And cultures that retained this combination for at least three generations exceeded other cultures in every area, including literature, art, science, furniture, architecture, engineering and agriculture.

In contrast, his research also discovered that when strict prenuptial chastity was no longer the norm, absolute monogamy, deism and rational thinking also disappeared within three generations.

And we are certainly seeing the predicted decline of rational thinking in our society now. 

Unwin states that every culture inevitably collapses within three generations of failing to protect the family through the rule of law.

The final stage of societal destruction Unwin predicted is that facts are replaced with feelings. 

This is currently demonstrated in the “sexual identity” movement, which insists there is no such thing as the reality of gender. 

HR 8404 will throw gasoline on the fire to burn down marriage, family and the objective reality of gender—male and female.

Only six more votes are needed to pass HR 8404 and take the final legal step that Unwin warns us against. 

There are 16 Republican senators who have not publicly committed how they will vote on this bill.
