THE WONDERFUL RICHES OF GOD’S GRACE David Wilkerson (1931-2011) November 1, 2019 Scripture says,  “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30).  Don’t be put off by all the terms in this verse. Simply put, the goal of the gospel is redemption and God’s grace includes everything he has done for us through Christ to redeem us from the power of the devil and bring us into the kingdom of his glorious light! Righteousness (which is justification) is the cornerstone of grace.  To be justified by God means to be forgiven of all sin and guilt and considered holy and righteous before him.  How did you find forgiveness and acceptance before God?  Was it because God saw something good in you, some inherent righteousness that attracted him to you?  Did you earn his favor with obedience and kindness? No — absolutely not! The Word says,  “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). No one becomes holy or righteous by his own works, obedience or faithfulness.  Rather, these things are all the result of faith in the power of Christ’s blood to make us acceptable in God’s sight. “Even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified” (Galatians 2:16).  Being made righteous by faith is the hardest thing for the flesh to accept.  We want to earn our salvation but we must submit to the righteousness of Christ and accept his salvation. That is the path to complete freedom. Today's devotional reading for: Friday, Nov 1, 2019 The Biggest Organization Worldwide “…you also, as living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house as a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” — 1 Peter 2:5 One day two men were sitting together on an airplane.  One was a businessman.  The second man was a representative of a worldwide organization.  “You must work for Coca Cola,” said the first.  “No,” replied the second, “We have far more field representatives, more employees and more customers, if you can call them that.” Now, the first man was definitely intrigued.  “Microsoft?” “Bigger.” “The U.N.?”  “Again, much bigger.”  “Tell me.” I am a minister in the Church of Jesus Christ. Think about it.  The kingdom that contains more citizens than any country on earth, the association that has the most members is the Church of Jesus Christ.  Not any one denomination, but the collective body that professes to believe in the Son of God comprises the largest group of people on the globe.  The members of Christ’s Church are in every country and of every race around the globe. There’s simply no other group, institution, or fellowship even remotely similar. If you are in Christ, you are part of the largest family in the whole world.  Despite all the setbacks, the Body of Christ is the most successful “organization” ever. Lord Jesus, Head of the church, we ask You to give us strength today so that we can live our lives worthy of the family name, Christian. Thank You for this worldwide enterprise. We are grateful for any job you give us within Your kingdom. Help us to serve You well… BY GOD’S STRENGTH, WE CAN REJOICE AT BEING IN HIS FAMILY.

"FRIEND YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN"

"One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. 
And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 
Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 
When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 
When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” 
The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? 
Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 
Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 
Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 
But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” 
So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 
Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. 
They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.” ~

"INCREASE OUR FAITH"

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

THE LAMB AND THE 144,000

Revelation 14:1-5

Now the scene changes and John is shown the 144,00.

Then I looked, and there before me was a Lamb,

Standing on Mount Zion,

AND WITH HIM 144,000 WHO HAD HIS NAME

AND HIS FATHER'S NAME WRITTEN ON THEIR FOREHEADS.

2 And I heard a sound from Heaven

Like the roar of Rushing Waters

And like a loud peal of Thunder.

The sound I heard

Was like that of harpists playing their harps.

3 AND THEY SANG A NEW SONG BEFORE THE THRONE

And before the Four Living Creatures and the Elders.

NO ONE COULD LEARN THE SONG

EXCEPT THE 144,00

Who had been redeemed from the earth.

4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women,

For they kept themselves pure.

They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.

THEY WERE PURCHASED FROM AMONG MEN

AND OFFERED AS FRISTFRUITS TO GOD AND THE LAMB.

5 NO LIE WAS FOUND IN THEIR MOUTHS;

THEY ARE BLAMELESS.

(Revelation 14:1-5)

The 144,000 is the Male Child that is the Firstfruits

Of the ministry of the “Woman,” the Bride of Christ.

They have the name of the Lamb

And His Father on their foreheads;

The forehead being the most prominent place

Of marking on a human.

They are “marked” or sealed to God.

They sing a song that no one else can sing.

They have never been with a woman.

No lie is in their mouths, they are blameless.

Such will be 144,000 young men “snatched up to God,”

Just prior to the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

Of deliverance from my enemies
'Til all my fears are gone

A CULTURE ON THE ROAD TO PERDITION

Today, we live in a godless, Soicalist, Secular Humanist, Culture.

A Culture that is going the way of the Culture in Noah's Day

As Christ Jesus warned us would happen in the Last Day.

(Matthew 24)

A Flood took away all but eight in Noah's Day.

The Coming Great Tribulation,

Will take away Most of mankind physically,

And Most will go to Perdition.

The only ones who will not go to Perdition

Will be those whose names are written

In the Lamb's Book of Life.

(Revelation 13)

How are we, as Christians,

Planning to avoid going the way of the Cuture?

What are we telling your children about this Situation?

Chrsit Jesus warned us:

9 “Then you will be handed over to be Persecuted

And put to Death,

And you will be Hated by All Nations

Because of Me.

10 At that time

MANY WILL TURN AWAY FROM THE FAITH

And will Betray and Hate each other,

And Many False Prophets will appear

AND DECIEVE MANY PEOPLE.

12 Because of the increase of Wickedness

THE LOVE OF MOST WILL GROW COLD,

13 BUT HE WHO STANDS FIRM TO THE END

WILL BE SAVED.”

(Matthew 24:9-13)

24 “For False Christs and False Prophets will appear

And perform Great Signs and Miracles

TO DECEIVE EVEN THE ELECT--

IF THAT WERE POSSIBLE.

25 SEE I HAVE TOLD YOU AHEAD OF TIME.”

(Matthew 24:24-25)

Only those who Overcome this World

And this Culture we live in, will avoid Perdition.

The Apostle John tells us this:

They Overcame him (Satan)

By the blood of the Lamb

And by the word of their Testimony;

They did not love their lives so much

As to Shrink from Death.

(Revelation 12:11)

Christ Jesus told us:

Since you have kept My Command

TO ENDURE PATIENTLY,

I will keep you from the Hour of Trial

That is going to come upon the Whole World

TO TEST THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE EARTH.

(Revelation 3:10)

Be always on the Watch,

And Pray that you may be able to Escape

All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able To Stand

Before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)
