CHRIST CAME TO REDEEM A 'FAMILY'

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). DAILY FIRE! - Christ For All Nations Jesus Christ was born because He wanted to be born. Nobody else has ever chosen to be born, because people like us have never had that kind of choice! Jesus was not the result of family planning;  He planned His birth Himself with the Father in heaven. But He planned the family of God, including its redemption by His own blood. The Son of God knew what life with us would be like: and yet He wanted to come to be with us.  He came to a primitive home in a crude age, with basic food and hard work; and knew that He would be cruelly executed. Why on earth should He want to be on earth and endure and suffer such a life?  The answer is that He wanted to be our Redeemer. He was determined to join the human race at all costs. He called Himself by only one title: “the Son of Man” (Matthew 20:28) identifying Himself with the human race. Isaiah’s words, “Unto us a Child is born” (Isaiah 9:6), express solidarity with us.  Even more, Jesus went for total involvement, being “numbered with the transgressors” (Isaiah 53:12). Again and again, the Bible uses two words: “ for us.” He did not choose to be born for His own benefit, for anything He could get out of it for Himself. Everything that He was and could do was only for His family.  He drew His very breath for us, for the family. Monday, May 1, 2017 The Power of the Gospel For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. —Romans 1:16 My life was dramatically impacted by the power of the gospel in a single day. I came to the Lord on my high school campus after hearing the gospel presented in a way that I had never heard it before. I responded and gave my life to Jesus Christ, and immediate changes started to take place. The Lord used the Christians on my campus, fellow high school students who were unashamed to live out their faith. If someone had tried to reach me by being cool or relating to me, I don’t know how well they would have done. I’d had enough cool to choke on in the world. I had pretty much been there, done that, and I was fed up with it. I was searching. I had already, through the process of elimination, determined where the answer in life was not. It was not in the hedonistic, materialistic, party lifestyle of my parents’ generation. Nor was it in the choices that I made as a kid. Being cool would not have reached me. In fact, the people who reached me probably were what I would have considered the lamest people on the face of the earth. I thought you couldn’t be any lamer than a Christian. They walked around carrying Bibles and talking about God. I thought that was the most absurd choice a person could possibly make. I had basically narrowed it down to this: either these people were out of their minds—actually disturbed mentally, or they really did have an encounter with Christ. Of course, in the end I concluded it was option two. I heard the gospel and made a commitment to the Lord. I was looking for something real, something authentic, and I found it in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Share this today: We are not drawn to the gospel because it is "cool," but because it is authentic.

DOZENS OF TEENS MISSING FROM ONE COUNTY

One small St. Louis County town is missing dozens of teens

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - 

Right now there are hundreds of missing kids all around the St. Louis area. Children are disappearing at an alarming rate, especially in one area – North St. Louis County. In the small community of Berkeley, MO alone, 33 kids have disappeared since 2000.

In this report, we`re going to tell you why they're forgotten, what may have happened to them, and what you can do about it. An astounding 219 boys and girls have disappeared from the St. Louis Metro area since 2000 according to our investigation. We compiled names from the Missouri Highway Patrol.

We began running names during the search for Monica Sykes, who disappeared from Berkeley. While her name was on the news, many other names have not brought the same attention. Those that have are now faded into the background behind other news events.

Phoenix Coldon`s parents still search without the same community support as when she first disappeared December 2011. Lawrence Coldon said, "It`s a terrible, crying, deplorable shame that so many people can come up missing in this country with a country with the type of resources that we have."

Phoenix was recently attending the University of Missouri-Columbia and living in North County. Her dad believes she may have been taken to be sold for sex and that she's alive.

"I found out where my daughter went missing -- there were three other girls that went missing in the same area where we were living," he said.

Advocate Kimberly Ritter said, "There`s a demand for child sex unfortunately."

We rode with Ritter who now looks at abandoned buildings as potential hiding places for people who want to enslave children for sex. She said, "You have to be aware because if you pay attention you may be able to save a child."

She learned about sex slaves by accident when working as a travel agent for nuns. The Sisters of St. Joseph asked her to train hotel employees how to spot it.

A judge this month sentenced Kyle Parks for selling girls out of a St. Charles motel. One was a missing teen from Ohio. Detectives traced her phone to the Red Roof Inn at Zumbehl and I-70. If traffickers and kidnappers are brazen enough to use hotels, Ritter thinks it's likely they're also working in abandoned buildings.

"No one comes to a location like this. It is hidden in plain sight," she said.

Like an abandoned North St. Louis house that reportedly hid a 12-year-old girl for days. She'd been reported missing after failing to show up at her school bus stop. A suspect now faces charges of kidnapping and sex assault. The backyard shows signs of people hanging out -- food containers and mattresses. Next door you can see another abandoned house.

HOW NORTH KOREA GOT NUKES

REASON: Now We Know How North Korea Got Their Nukes. This is Evil.

North Korea has put us all in an uncomfortable place. We feel that conflict could happen any day. We would win, but it would be messy. Who is to blame for this situation?

In a shocking examination, it was discovered that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton actually set us up for this situation. They did some pretty atrocious things with North Korea, and seemingly, didn’t care about the consequences of their actions. (via The Federalist Papers)

These two liberals set America up for failure from the start. Carter worked up a deal in Pyongyang with North Korea. The result of the deal was two reactors and five billion dollars in aid, all in return for a promise to quit seeking nukes.

WE GAVE THEM TWO NUCLEAR REACTORS AND 5 BILLION DOLLARS AND SAID “DON’T BUILD NUKES!” Stunned by stupidity is the only way to describe this agreement. OF COURSE, they were going to go right back to building nukes with their two new reactors, and more money than any of us have ever seen in our lives.

Bill Clinton embraced this idea with arms wide open. He claimed that this achievement would form “an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula.” Really, Clinton?

This story proves another point that we should all take into consideration. They gave ANOTHER COUNTRY $5 billion dollars. We have people starving to death in our country already. Veterans are sick, homeless, and not getting the respect and admiration that they deserve.

We could have taken care of ALL of the current veterans with that $5 billion dollars. Instead, we gave it away to a dangerous dictator as if it were Monopoly money.

These former “leaders” need to admit that what they did put us in this situation. We know the mainstream media will never mention it. In fact, Carter won a Nobel Peace Prize for coming up with the North Korean agreement. Sad!

Knowing this information, you have to wonder how much we DON’T  know. How much money was given to them from previous presidents that we will never know about? How many times did we happily give them money to try and build something that would destroy us?

It is complete madness and needs to stop. Luckily, President Trump noticed the same things that we have. He is going to keep aid to other countries to a bare bones minimum. We need to step back and focus on OUR country, and OUR people. President Trump recently passed an executive order for our veterans, and this is already an amazing improvement from previous legislation what was there previously.

Now, veterans can view information about their VA hospitals online, such as wait times, allowing them to get treatment sooner, and best of all, the best doctors in the world are going to be there to help. This is already a shining example of how Trump is different from Bill Clinton, Carter, or ANY other president that has been in office.

Clinton and Carter may never pay for their treason, but at least we have a good idea about how we ended up in this situation. Thanks, Clinton and Carter.

Famous Reverend Slams Phil For Preaching Christian Values… He Needs Your Support

The ever controversial Phil Robertson, patriarch of Duck Dynasty, has not always found favor with other celebrities. Often times, for the things he would say publicly.

Back when people got upset about Phil’s remarks published in GQ, one such celebrity spoke out about his disapproval of the comments. Phil’s remarks included his beliefs on homosexuality.

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” Phil said. “Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” 

He later clarified his statements. But Rev. Jesse Jackson, the well-known American civil rights activist, held a press conference in response.

CHRIST JESUS: THE AUTHOR OF LIFE

The apostle Peter on The Day Of Pentecost said this to the Jews

After Christ Jesus had been crucified:

But you killed the Very Source—the Author—of LIFE,

Whom God raised from the dead.

To this we are witnesses. (Acts 3:15, AMP)

The writer of the Hebrews said this:

Let us Fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our Faith,

Who for the Joy set before Him endured the Cross, scorning its shame,

And sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

The apostle John said this about Christ Jesus:

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word [Christ],

And the Word was with God and the Word was God Himself. [Isa.9:6.]

He was present originally with God.

ALL THINGS were made and came into existence through Him;

And without Him was not even one thing made

That has come into being. (John 1:1-3, AMP)

Scripture makes clear that Christ Jesus is God

And that He is the CREATOR of EVERYTHING that exists.

He is the Author of our Faith.

Without Christ Jesus there would be no Faith.

He imparts, by His Spirit, Faith in all who believe.

Some receive this impartation and grow in it

And others for various reasons reject it or allow it to die.

Christ Jesus is the Perfecter of our Faith, by His Spirit.

Our Faith is Perfected as we allow Him to live In and Through us;

Experiencing Ever Increasing Glory.

The apostle Paul describes it this way:

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's Glory,

Are being Transformed into His likeness with Ever Increasing Glory,

Which comes from the Lord, Who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

The Amplified Bible put it this way:

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold

[In the Word of God] as in a mirror the Glory of the Lord,

Are constantly being Transfigured into His very own Image

In ever increasing Splendor

And from one degree of Glory to another;

[For this comes] from the Lord [Who is ] the Spirit.

(2 Corinthians 3:18, AMP)

THERE IS NO LIFE BUT CHRIST JESUS

He is Life Itself, the Spirit of Life,

God, the Self-existent One.

Christ has granted everyone who has been born a natural life,

But only those who have been Born Again;

Born of the Spirit of Christ;

Who are walking in the Light of Christ,

Have Eternal Life.

Those who have not been Born Again

STAND CONDEMNED BEFORE THE LIVING GOD.

(John 3:18)

And if they are not Born Again,

Upon natural death, they go to a Devi's Hell.

THE WHOLE WORLD, WITHOUT FAITH IN CHRIST,

STANDS CONDEMNED!

Scripture tells us, that in the End,

The Whole World Worships the son of Satan,

The Beast of Revelation, the Antichrist,

Condemning themselves to a Devil's Hell.

(Revelation 13:3)

Only those whose names

Are written in the Lamb's Book of Life

Escape this Outcome. (Revelation 13:8)
