Christ Jesus Will Defend Israel

“As the lions roar, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will deliver it. Passing over, He will preserve it” (Isaiah 31:4-5).

As I read this scripture this morning, my heart leapt with joy. That is precisely what I have been doing for almost 47 years—defending Jerusalem. I have stood up to terrorists face to face, men such as Yasser Arafat, whom I confronted at the 43rd General Assembly of the United Nations. I've stood up to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former president of Iran, face to face in New York City at the United Nations.

For 33 years I have been writing books in defense of Israel. I have just completed my 41st book. We have also produced 18 television documentaries in defense of Israel. The Corrie ten Boom Holocaust Center in Haarlem, Holland has been part of our ministry since 1987 when we purchased it and restored it. I have served as chairman of the board since that time. Thanks to the Jerusalem Prayer Team, no one has ever had to pay a dime to visit the museum since it opened to the public in 1988.

I can see the faces of thousands of precious people in Israel that we have helped—children, Holocaust survivors, and more. At this moment, there is only one bomb shelter in the nation with air-conditioning, heating, a kitchen, Internet, bathrooms, and television. It is one of the largest bomb shelters in Jerusalem that the JPT restored and made into a community center for Holocaust survivors.

What a blessing it is to realize that God is rewarding you for what you are doing for Jerusalem: “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee. And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6).

Israel is God's dream. We are called to be part of His team. The title deed belongs to God Almighty. When God made His eternal promise to Israel, there was no United Nations, only pagan nations to challenge that dream and to challenge God and His Word. To be apathetic towards God's Divine plan and eternal purpose as a Christian means to reject the Great Commission: “…you shall be a witness unto me in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria…” (Acts 1:8). God's prophetic time clock is set on Jerusalem time. The spotlight of Heaven is still on Jerusalem. It all began there, and it will all end there.

Jerusalem is the only city for which God commands us to pray and commands a blessing on those who do. The Jerusalem Prayer Team is the largest intercessory movement in the world for the Jewish People and the city of Jerusalem. It is our Divine commission to bless the Jewish People.

Jesus said, “…truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine [The Jews], you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). I can hear the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roaring.

May the powers of hell hear the roar of God's people today—You—declaring that the “people who do know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32). We will defend, deliver, and preserve Jerusalem. The greatest battle on earth is being fought from the Holy City of Jerusalem, according to Isaiah 14, where Satan is battling. All roads lead to Jerusalem. Heaven and earth met in Jerusalem and will meet there again.

My comments:

As the godless Nations turn their backs on Israel

Christ Jesus, the All Powerful One, turns His Face toward her.

The army of Heaven is at attention.

To Live Is To Die

No Death, No LIFE!

The only LIFE there is here on earth is to be found in Christ Jesus.

As He is the only LIFE that exists.

And the only way one can find this LIFE is to Die to self

And be filled with His Spirit.

Here on earth, everyone is spiritually dead while they live naturally;

Without Christ, they are only waiting until natural death brings Eternal Death.

Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with Him [Christ Jesus]

We will also live with Him,

If we endure, we will also reign with Him,

If we disown Him, He will also disown us,

If we are Faithless, He will remain Faithful

For He cannot disown Himself. (2 Timothy 2:11)

What shall we say, them?

Shall we go on sinning so that Grace may increase?

By no means!

We died to SIN; how can we live in it any longer?

Or don't you know that ALL of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus

Were baptized into His Death?

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into Death

In order that, just as Christ was raised from the Dead

Through the Glory of the Father,

We too may live a New LIFE.

IF we have been UNITED with Him in His Death,

We will certainly also be UNITED with him in His RESURRECTION.

For we know that our Old-Self was CRUCIFIED with Him

So that the body of SIN might be rendered powerless,

That we should no longer be SLAVES TO SIN.

Now IF we Died with Christ,

We believe that we will also LIVE with Him.

For we know that since Christ was raised from the Dead,

He cannot Die again;

Death no longer has MASTERY over Him.

The Death He Died, He Died to SIN once for ALL;

But the LIFE He lives, He lives to God.

In the same way, count yourselves Dead to SIN

But ALIVE to God IN Christ Jesus.

Therefore do not let SIN reign in your mortal body

So that you OBEY its EVIL DESIRES.

Do not offer the parts of your body to SIN,

As instruments of WICKEDNESS,

But rather offer yourselves to God,

As those who have been brought from Death to LIFE;

And offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of RIGHTEOUSNESS.

For SIN shall not be your MASTER,

Because you are not under the Law, but under Grace.

What then?

Shall we SIN because we are not under Law but under Grace?

By no means!

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves

To someone to OBEY him as SLAVES,

You are SLAVES to the one whom you OBEY--

Whether you are SLAVES TO SIN, which leads to Death,

Or OBEDIENCE, which leads to RIGHTEOUSNESS?

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be SLAVES to SIN,

You wholeheartedly OBEYED the form of teaching

To which you were entrusted.

You have been SET FREE from SIN

And have become SLAVES to RIGHTEOUSNESS.

I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves.

Just as you used to offer the parts of your body

In SLAVERY to IMPURITY and ever-increasing WICKEDNESS,

So now offer them in SLAVERY to RIGHTEOUSNESS leading to HOLINESS.

When you were SLAVES to SIN,

You were free from the control of RIGHTEOUSNESS.

What did you benefit from the things you are now ashamed of?

Those things result in Death!

But now that you have become SLAVES to God,

The benefit you reap leads to HOLINESS,

And the result is Eternal LIFE.

For the WAGES OF SIN is Death,

But the GIFT OF GOD is Eternal LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Romans 6)

I pray that those who read this message are Dead to SIN

And ALIVE to God IN Christ Jesus.

Israel Is On Its Own

Israel is on its own today the same way that it was on its own when it declared its independence in 1948, when it destroyed the Egyptian air force in 1967, and when it rescued Jewish hostages in Uganda in 1976. In all cases, the Jewish leadership made a tough decision that defied logic but that relied on what Israel's Declaration of Independence calls, “The Rock of Israel.” Making hard decisions and taking calculated risks is what leadership is all about. The coming few months will be decisive. May they be remembered as Netanyahu's finest hour.

Please join me in this prayer for Israel right now: Father, I thank you for your faithfulness. You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). I never received the spirit of bondage from you, Father, but the Spirit of adoption which causes me to cry, “Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15).

There is no love in fear, precious Lord. You taught me that perfect love casts out all fear (I John 4:18). I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). You will cover me with Your feathers and under Your wings shall I take refuge. Your truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrows that fly by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come near me (Psalm 91:4-7).

No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling, for You will give Your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways (Psalm 91:10-11).

God has spoken an eternal promise of blessing for those who bless the children of Abraham. God has spoken an eternal promise of judgment for those who curse the children of Abraham. Today, I'm asking you to be a blessing to God's Chosen People by helping us stand with Israel.

It is more important than ever that we do everything possible to bless, encourage, and help the Jewish People. And we urgently need your help to make that happen.

My comments:

Israel and we as followers of Christ are the Apple of God's Eye.

We have Eternal PROMISES from God Almighty that cannot be broken.

God is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER.

Heaven and earth shall pass away

But God's Word remains fixed in Heaven, FOREVER.

False Christianity Is Worthless

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

Stand at the gate of the Lord's House and there proclaim this message:

Hear the Word of the Lord, all you people of Judah [America]

Who come through these gates to worship the Lord.

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel [America] says:

Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place.

Do not trust in deceptive worlds and say,

'This is the Temple of the Lord, the Temple of the Lord,

The Temple of the Lord!'

If you really CHANGE YOUR WAYS and your ACTIONS

And deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the alien,

The fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place,

And if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,

Then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your forefathers

For ever and ever.

But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.

Burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known,

And then come and stand before Me in this House, which bears My Name,

And say, 'We are safe'--safe to do all these things?

Has this House which bears My Name,

Become a den or robbers to you?

But I have been watching! Declares the Lord.

'Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My Name,

And see what I did to it because of the WICKEDNESS of My people Israel.

While you were doing all these things, declares the Lord,

I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen;

I called but you did not answer.

Therefore, what I did to Shiloh

I will now do the the House that bears My Name,

The Temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your fathers.

I will THRUST you from My Presence, just as I did all your brothers,

The people of Ephraim.'

So DO NOT PRAY FOR THIS PEOPLE

Nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with Me,

For I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU.

Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah [America]

And in the streets of Jerusalem [and every city in America]?

The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire,

And the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread

For the Queen of Heaven [and all the Idols of America].

They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.

But am I the one they are provoking? Declares the Lord.

Are they not harming themselves, to their own shame?

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

My anger and My WRATH will be poured out on this place,

On man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground,

And it will burn and not be quenched.

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel [America] says:

Go ahead, add you burnt offerings to your other sacrifices

And eat the meat yourselves!

For when I brought your forefathers out of Egypt and spoke to them,

I did not just give them commands about burnt offerings and sacrifices,

But I gave them this COMMAND:

OBEY Me, and I will be your God and you will be My people.

Walk in all the ways I COMMAND you, that it may go well with you.

But they did not listen or pay attention;

Instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their EVIL hearts.

They went backward and not forward.

From the time your forefathers left Egypt

[all the lands Americans came from] until now, day after day,

Again and again I sent you My Servants the Prophets.

But they did listen to Me or pay attention.

They were stiff-necked and did more EVIL than their forefathers.'

When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you;

When you call to them, they will not answer.

Therefore say to them,

This is the nation that has not OBEYED the Lord its God

Or responded to CORRECTION.

TRUTH has PERISHED; it has vanished from their lips.

Cut off your hair and throw it away;

Take up a lament on the barren heights,

For the Lord has REJECTED and ABANDONED this generation

That is under His WRATH. (Jeremiah 7:1-29)

Today, a DISOBEDIENT America has been REJECTED and ABANDONED

By God Almighty.

The Nation that God poured out his Grace upon as no other Nation of its day.

Let the sheep of God, who hear His voice,

Find shelter in the shadow of His wings;

Who understand that Christ Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

The same God who sent Jeremiah to speak to Israel

Is the same God who speaks through His Word to America today.

The World Declares Economic War On Israel

I am writing today to warn you of a great danger facing Israel—the threat of economic war. This is not a conventional war fought with tanks and planes and armies. Instead, it lurks in computers and business offices, in stock exchanges and boardrooms. But it is still a very real threat to the Jewish People.

There is a major international effort underway—and sadly, members of our government are supporting it—known as BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) that is designed to put so much pressure on the government of Israel that it will be forced to cave in and divide Jerusalem and hand it to the Palestinians.

This is a great evil—and if it succeeds, every nation that supported it will be judged by God. History is filled with the examples of nations and empires that touched prophecy and harmed Israel, and were destroyed as a result. I have four children and nine grandchildren, and I do not want God's judgment to fall on our land. But it will...unless we act now. It is more important than ever that we do everything possible to bless, encourage and help the Jewish People. And we urgently need your help to make that happen.

My comments:

Why is Israel the focus of so much of the world's attention?

Because Israel represents God's PROMISE to her,

That she will remain FOREVER, and she therefore represents God Himself.

Israel is today, God's OBJECT LESSON for the entire world.

The world will try to eradicate her but they will fail as Scripture details.

ALL who come against Israel will be DESTROYED. (Ezekiel 38)

Christ Jesus returns to Israel

And sets up His Kingdom in Jerusalem on Mount Zion, for a thousand years.

On September 23, 1980, during the Carter-Reagan presidential race, I met with the head of Israeli intelligence, Isser Harel, who told me that America was developing a dangerous tolerance for terror. He said, “America has the power but not the will to fight terrorism. Terrorists have the will but not the power.” He further said all that would change with time because Arab oil could buy more than tents. Harel prophetically predicted that the first terrorist attack on American soil would be on New York City's tallest building.

Today, the same Liberal Left pied-pipers are playing the same song they played more than 30 years ago. Rather than believe that those who wage war against us are evil, they would have us believe that we are the evil ones for retaliating—or worse, preemptively striking to prevent danger to regional or world security. We see this mindset on display when Israel is the target of boycotts and sanctions while Iran is allowed to continue their mad rush toward nuclear weapons virtually unimpeded.

This attitude of appeasement is deadly. It places the United States, Israel, and all those who have not yet bowed to the will of Islamic sharia law in great danger. There is a literal life-and-death struggle taking place on the world stage today. And you and I must be more than spectators to these prophetic events.

Today, we have godless Terrorist waging war against godless Nations.

And Satan is behind it all.

The only defense any nation has is to honor God.

God Almighty is the only defense any nation has against Satan.

America is currently dishonoring God Almighty

And has therefore rendered itself defenseless against the wiles of Satan.

We pray that America comes to its senses and turns back to God.

Democrats: Forcing Their Religion On America

The Democrats are forcing, by force of law,

Their Secular Humanist Religion on America.

The very ones who decry Christianity and its precepts are all to willing

To force their godless, anti-Christ, Secular Humanist Religion on everyone.

Although they have no formal churches,

They are bound together by being anti-God, anti-Christ, and anti-Bible

And by the Platform of the Democrat Party

And are just as Religious about these precepts

And the Platform of the Democrat Party as any religion in existence.

Secular Humanism is the man as “god” religion,

Where every man and woman does what is right in their own eyes

As long as the State approves.

The Democrats are forcing their version of Healthcare on everyone;

Forcing Christians to participate with them in increasing Abortion Murder.

Forcing Christians to agree with them on the “rights” of homosexuals;

To treat homosexuality as “normal” human behavior,

When the Word of God calls it abominable.

Sanctioning by law same-sex marriage.

They are forcing their Public Education System on everyone

When it is simply a tool of indoctrination into their Religion of debauchery.

They have captured the Press in America,

So that the Press in America is simply the propaganda wing

Of the Democrat Party.

They have captured a large portion of the Judiciary

So that soon there will no longer be an independent Judiciary

But simply the Judicial Wing of the Democrat Party.

They are attempting to silence all descent in America

Through the government agencies of the FCC and the IRS.

They are forcing their ideas of environmental responsibility

On everyone through the EPA.

Which is simply a mechanism to control everyone, by law.

And that is the OBJECT of their Religion: CONTROL! Godless control.

These are the people who are leading America into Financial Default;

Who are leading every “Blue” city and state into bankruptcy;

Who lead Detroit into bankruptcy.

Who put these godless people in power?

A godless American Electorate.

Financed by godless American businesses.

Propagandized by a godless America Media.

Who is putting their seal of approval on these Secular Humanists?

Apostate Christians; the go along to get along crowd,

Who have denied to Word of God, which is Christ Jesus.

This is the Great Falling Away described by the apostle Paul

This will become increasingly more obvious as time goes on.

What finally happens to these people?

These are the people who will receive the son of Satan as their “god.”

They will soon all bow down and worship him and receive his “mark,”

Just as Scripture describes.

I pray that there will be an awakening in America to the TRUTH
