Moscow nanny also shouted: 'I'm a terrorist'

Police in Russia arrested a woman who pulled out a female child’s severed head from her bag and brandished it in front of a crowd of shocked Moscow metro station passersby, while shouting – according to one media outlet – “Allahu Akbar.”

The woman, reportedly a nanny, was charged with murder, Reuters reported.

The New York Post reported the woman, 39, also threatened to detonate a bomb and screamed: “I’m a terrorist.”

Investigators didn’t name the suspect but said she hailed from Central Asia and was sent for psychiatric testing to determine her mental soundness and whether she understood the nature of her crime.

Lifenews.ru, meanwhile, posted footage of a woman identified as the child's nanny. She was shown in black, wandering the streets and holding up the child's head.

The site reported at one point, police approached the woman who then shouted she had killed the child, who was about 4  years old.

The RBC daily news outlet, meanwhile, reported the woman had been screaming "Allahu Akbar."

Police also said the woman, who had been babysitting when she allegedly killed the girl, also set the child's family's apartment on fire. When they responded to the scene of the fire, they found the headless body of a 5-year-old girl, the New York Post reported.

A video of the scene from RT shows the woman, speaking in a foreign language that was translated into English in text, saying: "I'm a terrorist. I want you dead. Look, I'm a suicide bomber. I'll die, the end of the world will come in a second."

"The child was found without the head," police spokesperson Yulia Ivanova told TASS news outlet. "The nurse took the head away. The woman waited until the parents and the elder child are gone and killed the toddler, setting the apartment on fire."
