People ask why did Jesus say why have you forsaken me on the cross.
You have to remember Jesus was taking the world sins on Himself.
The wages of sin is death and sin separates us from a holy God.
So He took that abandonment and forsakenness so we wouldn't have to experience that from God!
Cause that's the worse feeling ever to be separated from your heavenly Father when you are One with Him!
So when people say where is God at?
Remember the cross cause He died physically and spiritually for you and went through the worst physical and spiritual pain so you would be reconciled back to your heavenly Father!
He really did die on cross and died for your sins people!
Don't doubt it.
I didn't go on a cross but I have experienced a lot of pain and felt abandoned by God!
It's the worse when you feel abandoned by God and people! And Jesus was rejected and oppressed so I think those who experience rejection and turn to God can relate to Jesus the most.
He says He will bind up the outcast and they will be His people.
Those who are broken God is close to cause He understands everything they are going through!
These hard trials are for us to understand what Jesus went through and if you are a follower of Jesus you will experience the sufferings of Christ!
The more we understand what He went through the better we can reach others for the gospel!
