Facebook, Google, YouTube, TwitterDear Friend, These social media giants have crowned themselves the arbiters of freedom, working overtime to help advance the Left’s radical, amoral agenda on America. In the process, they have become “gatekeepers” controlling the flow of information in the online world and censoring Christian and conservative material, including the Gospel itself. Congressional Republicans have called out both Twitter and Facebook for blatant discrimination. But don’t forget information powerhouses Google and YouTube and their moderating of online speech—your speech! Social media censorship is out of control! Right now, Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act gives online companies broad immunity from legal liability for user-generated content and wide latitude to control what appears on their platforms. If you agree that it’s time for that control to end, I ask you to sign our petition to House and Senate leadership urging them to change Section 230 to hold social media companies accountable for libel (like newspapers, magazines, and political organizations are). These media giants should not be above the law! They should not be allowed to flourish in their unconstitutional discrimination against opposing viewpoints—namely, yours and mine.
