Hello Friend,
One thing I have found in life is that it is full of unexpected happenings. Many of them are pleasures and blessings that come our way. Others are immensely tragic and sad.I think for most people, a cancer diagnosis comes as an unexpected thing, but it’s especially unexpected when a person is young. Jeremy and Melissa Camp were in their early 20s when they got married, and just four months later, Melissa passed away from ovarian cancer.Get your copy of I Still Believe DVD.
When we hear about tragedies and injustices like that, our immediate reaction is to ask why. “Why, God, would You allow something so horrific to happen?”We don’t usually receive an answer to that question, though sometimes the good that comes out of bad later down the line can help us to gain some perspective. We may not understand all the things that life holds, but we can trust the One who holds it.Despite the pain that Jeremy went through, he made the conscious decision to trust the Lord and hold onto his faith. He wrote a song—a declaration of that decision—called “I Still Believe,” and it has resonated with millions of people.Recently, an excellent movie was made telling Jeremy and Melissa’s story, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you should. We’re making it available this month as a thank-you gift to anyone who makes a donation to the work God is doing through Harvest. We will send you a copy of I Still Believe on DVD when you give today:
