Hello Friend,
Only two days left to give in 2019!
It’s a funny thing. So often when we participate in God’s work, we do it with the intention of blessing the Lord and blessing others, but we walk away feeling blessed ourselves.
When we serve, or give, or volunteer our time, talent, and treasure, God has a way of turning that sacrifice around and raining down His blessings on us.
A woman named Christine discovered this truth when she signed up to help at this year’s Harvest Crusade. She told us,
“I am so glad I signed up to volunteer. I have never been more encouraged and blessed by the stories of the people I've met. Incredible stories of lives changed when they came to know Jesus. Thank you, Pastor Greg and family and the staff and volunteers, for doing this year after year, and the best thing is it is free. God bless you.”
Christine experienced the simple principle that Jesus described in Luke 6:38. “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back” (NLT).
Have you experienced the blessing that comes with giving, Tom?
We are approaching the end of the year, an important time for our ministry financially. The amount of donations we receive in December essentially determines the initiatives and outreaches that we can budget for in the coming year.
We want to reach as many people as possible with the life-changing message of the gospel. Will you help us with a year-end gift of just $30 or more today?
