| President Trump’s
Supreme Court nominee
|
Dear Tom,
As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s birthday tomorrow, I’m reminded just how blessed we are to have been founded as “one nation, under God.” While far from perfect, I hope you will agree, we have much for which to be grateful.
In fact, as we celebrate our freedom, I am extremely grateful that President Trump is going to have the opportunity to select another Supreme Court justice—
freeing us from the judicial tyranny of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s arbitrary swing votes.
It is not an overstatement to say that, in recent years, he was the most powerful man in America because so many cases were decided by a 5-4 vote—cases that involved the right to life and freedom of conscience—preeminent matters.
Even when Justice Kennedy occasionally got the result right, one could never be sure how he got there, or if he would do it again.
No, America cannot afford another justice—on any level of the judiciary—who believes that the Constitution says whatever he or she thinks it says in today’s milieu.
Judges who rule based on the Constitution being a living, breathing document have put our Republic at great risk.
These judges are tyrants in black robes.
Because of the seriousness of this issue, we have produced a brand new Truth In Action Q & A booklet, What Is Judicial Tyranny? You’ll learn what happens when judges do not respect the law, and what we can do to bring change. We will send you a three-pack of this short yet vital booklet as our thank you for your generous donation to this ministry. This is an invaluable resource to share with others—and even more timely now in light of the firestorm that is erupting over the President’s selection of the next Supreme Court justice.
In addition, for your generous donation of $40 or more, we will send you the judicial tyranny three-pack plus the outstanding book, The Founders’ Key: The Divine and Natural Connection Between the Declaration and the Constitution and What We Risk by Losing it.
Written by Dr. Larry Arnn, president of Hillsdale College, this powerful book is an excellent discussion of the Constitution and the Declaration. It provides an inspiring and commanding exposition of these two pillars upon which the liberties and rights of the American people stand, and it clearly explains how they are at risk today.
We must not take the selection and approval of the next justice for granted.
As I’ve said, the firestorm has already begun over the President’s possible nominee.
Will you commit to pray in the coming days and weeks? We dare not take this opportunity for granted when so much is at stake.
Please know that your gifts will enable us to get the word out in the coming weeks about the danger of judicial tyranny by way of our Truths That Transformtelevision program, as well as in print and on the web. Thank you for helping make our many ministry outreaches possible.
Sincerely,
Frank Wright, Ph.D. President and CEO D. James Kennedy Ministries
