GIVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE TO GOD

When what you think, what you feel, and what you want control your life,

You have become your own God and your heart has become your bible.

When the Word of God controls your thoughts, emotions,

And desires you have come submitted to the Word of God

And only then can His Spirit empower you.

If you are your own God

And you are empowered by "the spirit"

It is not His Spirit that empowers you,

And if His Word is nothing to you

Then which spirit empowers you will mean nothing to you either,

As long as that "spirit" gets you what you want.

The heart of such a person can only be appeased by the World

And the things of it

And it is a desperately wicked heart

That is dressed in the holiest of attire.

Surrender to God means death to this World

And the things of it, it is even a death to self, as Jesus said,

"If anyone desires to come after me he must deny his own self,

Take up his own cross, and follow me."

Jesus is the way

And there is no other way known to men

By which we might be saved.

Let this year 2018

Be the year you completely surrender your life to Christ

Put aside the things of this World

And no longer allow your heart to run your life,

But give your life to go after the very heart of God.
