Exclusive: Curtis Ellis lists TPP nations that've paid the Clintons over the years

UNITED NATIONS – Michigan and the industrial Midwest have suffered from Clinton-Obama policies that sent our jobs and industries to Mexico and China.

Over the last 25 years, the Clintons have championed one-way deals like 1993’s NAFTA, China’s 2001 entry into the World Trade Organization and the 2012 South Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. These poorly negotiated deals benefitted the elite interests that finance the Washington politicians even as they impoverished our heartland and destroyed the livelihoods and lives of working Americans. And the Clintons aren’t done yet.

Michigan lost a third of its manufacturing jobs – more than 231,000 – since Clinton’s NAFTA and China trade deals went into effect.

Three of every five who were rehired in 2014 took home smaller paychecks, and one in three took pay cuts of more than 20 percent, according to Department of Labor data. The Labor Department’s Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program certifies that more than 157,000 Michigan jobs have been destroyed by offshoring or imports since NAFTA. And these numbers significantly undercount the full impact since the Labor Department only covers some of the jobs lost to trade.

Michigan farmers lost out too. U.S. exports to Canada and Mexico of cattle – one of Michigan’s top agricultural products – fell 59 percent in the first 22 years of NAFTA.

In 2012, the Obama administration announced it had fixed the problems in past trade agreements. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton promised us that this new Korea deal – she called it “cutting edge” – would create 70,000 jobs and boost exports.

After the Korea Free Trade Agreement, the U.S. trade deficit with Korea in the top 10 products Michigan exports to Korea – including everything from vehicles to machinery to metal manufacturing – grew 54 percent as exports fell and imports rose.

Also, in the first four years of the Korea FTA, U.S. exports to Korea of greenhouse/nursery products and corn – two more top Michigan agricultural products – dropped 40 and 57 percent respectively.

The increase in the U.S. trade deficit with Korea cost more than 100,000 American jobs in the first four years of the agreement. The surge of imports of auto parts and vehicles from Korea hit the auto industry particularly hard.

But the worst is yet to come.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership Hillary supports will kill even more Michigan jobs as more of the auto industry and its suppliers move to China and Southeast Asia.

The TPP would allow a majority of the component parts of a car assembled in Mexico to be made in China or other countries even though they are not signatories to the TPP.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership would wipe out what’s left of the U.S. automotive industry and the machine shops, tool-and-die makers, die-casters, foundries and injection molding outfits that feed it.

While Hillary Clinton pretends she’s against TPP, her advisers and confidantes, including Kurt Campbell and Terry McAuliffe, are promising foreign leaders and her big donors Hillary will make sure it passes once the election is over no matter what she says now.

That’s what Bill Clinton did with NAFTA. He pretended to be against it when he was running for president, but signed it after the election.

The same with Hillary and the Korea trade agreement. In 2007, candidate Hillary said she was against it, but in 2011, Secretary Clinton lobbied Congress to approve it.

President Obama says he will push the TPP through Congress in a lame duck session after the election.

Hillary Clinton can’t tell Obama not to do it.

She needs Obama to keep covering up all the crooked deals she and her husband have been doing. And that’s another reason she wants the TPP.

The TPP countries that will steal our jobs have paid the Clintons.

Bill Clinton got $200,000 from a Malaysian businessman who will get rich off the TPP. That was the first speech he made after Hillary was named secretary of state.

He gave another speech in Malaysia for a private university that paid him $18 million. This time, the Clinton Foundation got Secretary Clinton to make sure our ambassador was in the audience.

Another country that will make out big from the TPP is Brunei.

That’s an Islamist country ruled by Shariah law. The sultan of Brunei gave the Clinton Foundation millions of dollars.

And then there’s China. The Clintons brought China into the World Trade Organization and enabled it grow into the superpower it is today.

China gave over $1,000,000 to the Clinton Foundation. It was money well spent.

While she was secretary of state, Hillary Clinton let China get away with cheating. They manipulated their currency, stole our trade secrets and drove American businesses into bankruptcy.

Then she promised our foreign policy would “pivot to Asia” and the TPP would be a big part of it. China will benefit further from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

After Hillary announced her “pivot to Asia,” China paid Bill Clinton $200,000 for a speech.

If Hillary Clinton makes it back to the White House, the voice that answers that 3 a.m. call will say “Press 1 if you’ve given to the Clinton Foundation.”
