LEFT'S CORPORATE EXTORTION CAMPAIGN AT WORK

BETWEEN THE LINES

LEFT'S CORPORATE EXTORTION CAMPAIGN AT WORK

Exclusive: Joseph Farah exposes rampant bullying, vilification of American businesses

Remember the days when so-called “progressives” blamed corporate America for everything?
Of course, they still do.
But after 40 years of demeaning, attacking, boycotting and outright extortion, the left now has corporate America on its knees and doing its bidding.
It’s been a long, strange trip.
Here’s just one example.
The National Basketball Association announced it is moving its 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte, North Carolina, to another state because of a state bill that calls for men using men’s bathrooms and women using women’s restrooms.
What does this have to do with basketball?
Your guess is as good as mine.
But it’s the latest example of the way corporations in American have joined the frontlines in the culture on the side of the radical left and sexual anarchists.
The question is how we got to this point: How did those pushing the boundaries of the culture war, with demands not even imaginable five or 10 years ago, enlist corporations to do their bidding for them?
The simple answer? Vilification and bullying works.
Nobody, especially not corporations, likes being associated with “discrimination” and “bigotry” – even if there is no substance to the allegations, which, in this case and many others, there is not.
Even many homosexuals, bisexuals, “transgendereds” and regretful “transgendereds” realize this issue is a tempest in a teapot – merely an excuse to rabble-rouse, play the “victim card” and create phony new issues for political agitation.
Notably, at the GOP convention this week, Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel, who described himself as “gay,” mocked the idea that bathroom “liberation” is an inconsequential issue – an excuse to avoid the more important matter of a contracting economy in which government seeks to control every aspect of American lives.
It’s also worth noting that the NBA, unlike most corporations in America, is really a cartel. And it does not build its own basketball arenas. If it did, it would be easy for corporations to lead by example. If businesses think the right thing to do in its public spaces is allow women to enter men’s rooms and vice versa, they could simply institute such policies.
The NBA has no responsibility, of course, for any adverse consequences for its decision to pull out of Charlotte.
It’s merely an effort to get on the politically correct side of the latest hustle by the left.
You are now a “bigot” if a woman is uncomfortable with a man in her restroom.
It’s absurd.
As a man, I’m uncomfortable with a strange woman in my restroom. And I’m not the least bit embarrassed or intimidate to say so.
If this is the new “civil rights” frontier, obviously we’ve fully exhausted civil rights challenges in America.
Peter Thiel’s right. We have far more important work to do in this country to raise up our economy for the benefit of all Americans – far more serious work.
It’s shocking that so few others come out and say it.
How did we find ourselves in this predicament?
The left has had a political monopoly on heavy-handed pressure on corporations to become foot soldiers in its culture wars. It’s been easier to persuade businesses to pay protection money to the left – and now they have been pushed to the vanguard of the “progressive” revolution.
Conservatives, Republicans, Christians and regular Americans don’t even raise a voice of protest as their country is culturally transformed.
What’s the answer?
Americans need to get some spine and push back on this nonsense. We need to stop allowing ourselves, our legislators, our other elected officials, our judges and now our businesses to stop dictating to us. All of these people and institutions are here for one purpose – to serve the public.
The cart has been place in front of the horse. And we know that’s not conducive to real “progress,” at all.

My comments: This Extortion is happening in a America that has Abandoned God and His Word. The Thief came to Steal, Kill and Destroy and that is exactly what he is doing. (John 10:10) He is making Fools of Americans and Christians and Mocking God in so doing. We know that God cannot be Mocked and in the End He will have His Way. But America will be long Gone by that time. What did America think would happen when it Surrendered the Public Schools to the godless? What did the American Electorate think would happen when they put godless people in Office? They got Extortion!
