What happened to space exploration? NASA’s new project predicts the end of civilization

Remember when NASA used to send people to the moon? Well, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration as you had come to know it is a thing of the past. Now, NASA is predicting the end of Western civilization because of – get this – over population, depleted resources, and wealth distribution.

“It’s the end of the world as we know it. Now, don’t start mocking this. This is coming from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center,” Glenn joked on radio this morning. “The study, which had been accepted now for publication in the peer-reviewed Elsevier journal, Ecological Economics, says civilized nations of the world, in their pursuit of energy resources, have created an unsustainable model that is doomed to implode on itself, creating a power vacuum and chaos.”

According to the Guardian, this research project is based on a new cross-disciplinary ‘Human And Nature DYnamical’ (HANDY) model, led by applied mathematician Safa Motesharrei of the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center, in association with a team of natural and social scientists.

Using historical data, the study claims “the process of rise-and-collapse is actually a recurrent cycle found throughout history.” In fact, cases of severe civilizational disruption due to “precipitous collapse – often lasting centuries – have been quite common.” When it comes to the potential for a collapse today, the study looks at risk factors like population, climate, water, agriculture, and energy.

“Do you see what this is? Do you see what this is? This is nothing more than our government spending money on bogus science… to do two things: To tell you that you have to have a global structural change away from capitalism,” Glenn said. “Collapse is coming, guys. But it has nothing to do with the world’s resources. It has everything to do with being unhinged from reality. It also has everything to do with the coming technological storm.”

As Glenn explained, much like the progressive movement in general, this study pretends to be forward thinking. In reality, this is a rehash of decades’ old idea that has been proven false time and time again. Centralized control doesn’t work, and yet that is what this study essentially advocates.

“These guys, they say they are for progress. These are the most anti-progress people I have ever seen, ever,” Glenn said. “They are living in the Stone Age. They are holding together some system that was brought forth by a crazy man in the 1850s that’s been discredited every single time. They want to go back to centralized control.”

When you consider taxpayer dollars were used to fund research projects like this, one has to wonder what service NASA actually provides anymore. This morning, Glenn found himself actually calling for the defunding of NASA because it has outlived its usefulness.

“When we saw that NASA’s main mission was changed from exploration to telling the Muslim world how great they are, we should have called for the banning or dissolving of NASA. That’s not something I call for lightly, but shut it down. Shut it down,” Glenn concluded. “This is taking NASA and trying to fit them into an organ to play the music of Karl Marx. That’s all this is. NASA should be defunded right now.”

My comments: God Almighty has told us clearly through His Word what brings the kingdom of this world to an END. It is the RETURN of Christ Jesus to the earth. Christ Jesus then does away with the kingdom of the world, Satan's kingdom, and sets up His Kingdom in Jerusalem on Mount Zion for a thousand years. And this event is coming SOON.
