The
outburst of violent terrorist missile attacks on southern Israel last
week while I was there is the worst in the past two years. Dozens of
rockets and missiles rained down on the little towns and
villages—threatening the lives of innocent Jewish men, women and
children. Almost all of these missiles were placed in the hands of
the Palestinian terrorists who use them as directed by the leaders of
Iran.
This weekend, high-ranking Iranian officials repeated their praise for the attacks and boasted of their plans to further strengthen the terrorists in their fight against Israel. This is a life-and-death struggle. The enemies of Israel will not rest in their evil plans and attacks. We must stand firm against them—and I am urgently asking for your help right now so that we can continue to stand in the gap for the defense of Israel.
