A Prayer On Behalf Of Hobby Lobby And America

A Personal Note from Tim Wildmon

Here's a prayer for you to say on behalf of Hobby Lobby

March 24, 2014
Tom,
On Tuesday, March 25, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear arguments to decide whether the right to free exercise of religion applies when Christians engage in business.
The Court will decide whether the religious owners of a family business, or their closely held, for-profit corporation, have free exercise rights that are violated by Obamacare's requirement that they include abortion inducing contraceptives in their employee health insurance coverage.
The two businesses in the case, Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood Specialties are Christian family businesses that operate according to Biblical principles. For example, Hobby Lobby, honors the Lord's Day by not opening Sunday.
For Hobby Lobby, if they do not offer the abortion producing drugs, Obamacare will fine them $100.00 per day for each of their 13,000 employees, or about $435 million per year.
The Court's ruling will not be published until May or June. Until then, ask God to preserve religious liberty in America.
Here is a sample prayer:
Lord God, Our Father, you are the Righteous Judge over all the earth. We pray that you will have mercy on the United States as the Supreme Court hears a case that will shape the balance between government power and freedom of religion.
Give words to the attorneys for Hobby Lobby as they argue that our free exercise of religion includes how Christians live and work, not just what we do when we gather for worship, so that whatever we do in word or deed, we may do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
God, enlighten the Justices of the Supreme Court to acknowledge that you alone are Lord of our consciences. Give the Court humility to recognize that you are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and that you have instituted human government so that your people may serve the Lord without fear, in holiness and righteousness before you, all the days of our life.
And Lord, give us grace and boldness to use the religious liberty that we still have to make your truth and mercy known. Amen.
Thank you for taking time to pray for our nation and its decision makers, and for corporate leaders who honor God.
Sincerely,

Tim

My comments: Understand, that if America continues to dishonor God all that remains is God's Judgment on her.
