Here's a prayer for you to say on behalf of Hobby LobbyMarch 24, 2014Tom, On Tuesday, March 25, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear arguments to decide whether the right to free exercise of religion applies when Christians engage in business. The Court will decide whether the religious owners of a family business, or their closely held, for-profit corporation, have free exercise rights that are violated by Obamacare's requirement that they include abortion inducing contraceptives in their employee health insurance coverage. The two businesses in the case, Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood Specialties are Christian family businesses that operate according to Biblical principles. For example, Hobby Lobby, honors the Lord's Day by not opening Sunday. For Hobby Lobby, if they do not offer the abortion producing drugs, Obamacare will fine them $100.00 per day for each of their 13,000 employees, or about $435 million per year. The Court's ruling will not be published until May or June. Until then, ask God to preserve religious liberty in America. Here is a sample prayer: Lord God, Our Father, you are the Righteous Judge over all the earth. We pray that you will have mercy on the United States as the Supreme Court hears a case that will shape the balance between government power and freedom of religion.Thank you for taking time to pray for our nation and its decision makers, and for corporate leaders who honor God.

Christ Jesus prayed that all those who would believe in Him would be ONE, just as He and the Father are ONE; that they be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. (John 17:20-23)
