The Powerless Church

'You will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you;

And you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem,

And in all Judea and Samaria, and the ENDS OF THE EARTH.' (Acts 1:8)

The Church of Jesus Christ will be like Jesus Christ;

She will have the same POWER that He exhibited when He walked the earth.

Christ Jesus said:

I tell you the Truth, ANYONE who has Faith in Me

Will do what I have been doing.

He will do EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE,

Because I AM going to the Father.

And I will do WHATEVER you ask in My Name,

So that the Son may bring Glory to the Father.

You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it. (John 14:12-14)

These two passages INDICT most of what is called Christianity.

These two passages are INCONTROVERTIBLE;

They INDICT a POWERLESS Church.

The True Church of Jesus Christ will be like Him when He walked this earth.

The whole of the New Testament supports this view and REALITY.

The Church of the Book of Acts testifies to this REALITY.

What happened after the Book of Acts

That rendered much of the Church POWERLESS;

That renders most of the Church of today, POWERLESS.

She forgot the ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT: CHRIST in His Fullness!

Today, the event that provided the POWER

To the first disciples is rarely spoken of; The Day of Pentecost

And the Baptism, Immersion in the Holy Spirit,

Which provides the POWER to live for Christ Jesus

And the POWER to do the works of Christ Jesus.

Today, Speaking in Tongues is practiced by only a few

Yet the apostle Paul says:

'I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.'

(1 Corinthians 14:18)

He who speaks in a Tongue EDIFIES himself... (1 Corinthians 14:4)

But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in you most Holy Faith

And pray in the Holy Spirit. (Jude 20)

Today, most of the Church has become too MODERN

For these antiquities.

Yet the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Speaking in Tongues are ESSENTIAL

FOR every Christian. Yes, I said ESSENTIAL!

There is NO CHURCH of Jesus Christ without the POWER of God!

And the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in Tongues are ESSENTIAL

To have that POWER as is OBVIOUS from Scripture.

The POWER of God is the only thing

That enables a person to DIE to himself.

And DIE we MUST to belong to Christ Jesus.

Christ cannot live in a person who is alive to himself.

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me

Is not worthy of Me;

Anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me;

And anyone who does not take up His Cross and follow Me

Is not worthy of Me.

Whoever finds His Life will lose it,

And whoever loses His Life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:37-39)

What is Your Cross

That you MUST TAKE UP to follow Christ Jesus?

It is DEATH to SELF and DEATH to this wicked world ruled by Satan.

Why do we have a POWERLESS Church?

Because she is UNWILLING to to TAKE UP HER CROSS;

UNWILLING to DIE to SELF! UNWILLING to DIE to this wicked world.

And only the POWER of God can enable her to do so.

So most of what is called the Church

Will continue to GO ALONG to GET ALONG with this wicked culture we live in.

Yet there will be a REMNANT, who, today, will receive the POWER of God;

Will DIE to SELF; Will take up Their Cross and follow Christ Jesus.

Understand that those who GO ALONG with the world

Will DIE Eternally with the world.

No one can serve two MASTERS.

Either he will hate the one and love the other,

Or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

You cannot serve both God and Money. (Matthew 6:24)

We live in a world that is DECEIVED!

A world ruled by Satan.

Most of the Church wants it both ways;

To love the world and attempt to love Jesus.

But his is IMPOSSIBLE!

The world and it's heart-set and mind-set is the ENEMY of Christ Jesus.

(James 4:4)

I pray that those who read this message

Have been Baptized in the Holy Spirit and Speak in Tongues;

That they have the POWER of the Holy Spirit

Necessary to follow Christ Jesus.

And if not, find those who do, who will help you.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
