God Never Changes!

I the Lord do not change. (Malachi 3:6)

Approximately 80% of the Word of God is in the Old Testament.
Certainly, since God devoted so much writing to this part of Scripture,
He wants us to get something out of it.
It is the story of the absolute Sovereignty of God over His Creation.
It is the story of the hopeless nature of fallen man.
It is the story of the hopeless nature of the people of God
Without the continual intervention of God.

The Old Testament is the record of God dealing with His people Israel.
It is the story of God raising up nations and tearing them down,
When their iniquity became full.

It is the story of God's chosen people continually going astray
In spite of all that God did for them;
The fact that God continually sent them Prophets
With the Word of God for them.
There were some bright spots, but in the end,
The people of God always ended up going astray.
This culminated with the advent of Christ Jesus
And Israel's rejection of Him as their Messiah.
Their House was left to them desolate.
It was left desolate until 1948 when miraculously,
And as Scripture had foretold, Israel was re-instituted as a nation.

The Seven Letters to the Severn Churches sent by Christ Jesus
Tell us that even before the last apostle died,
The Churches of God were in trouble.
Of the Seven, only Two were commended.

Here we stand, 2,000 years after the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
During these 2,000 years the people of God always went astray.
And the only reason they were brought back to relationship with God
Was by God's Sovereign interventions among them.
It was the story of Israel all over again.
Today, without the Sovereign interventions of God Almighty,
There would be no one in right standing with God.
The Gentiles proved they had no greater ability to remain faithful to God
Than did Israel before them, the New Covenant not withstanding.
In the Old Covenant there was always a Remnant
That remained faithful to God.
In the last 2,000 years
There has always been a Remnant that remained faithful to God.
A Remnant preserved by God, by the Power of His Holy Spirit.

Today, we look across the ocean and we see a godless Europe.
We live in America
Which has become increasing more godless since it's inception.
Without the Sovereign interventions of God, among the people of God,
There would be no faith in America at all.
Today, America is under the heavy judgment of God;
America is being ground to powder because of it's SIN against God.

America is being overrun by the godless under the inspiration of Satan.
When we look at the Church of God
We see little difference between it and the larger Culture.

Understand this, God has not changed. He will deal with godless America
Just as he dealt with the godless nations of the past including Israel.
The Word of God makes this clear.
America's iniquity is becoming full and when it becomes full
It will go the way of the godless nations that preceded it, destruction.
Today, America is well on it's way to destruction.

Nevertheless, in the midst of this godlessness world
There is a Remnant of people determined to remain faithful to God,
In every nation on earth, and the Sovereign God is strengthening those:

The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those
Whose hearts are fully committed to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Today, this Remnant is rising up in every nation on earth
Giving glory, honor and praise to God and His Christ, Jesus.
These will be spared the Hour of Trial
That God will soon bring upon the whole earth
To test those who live on the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

The apostle Paul said of his day:
So too, at the present time there is a Remnant chosen by grace. (Romans11:5)
This has been true in every generation since the ascension of Christ Jesus.

Today, this Remnant understands correctly the signs of the times.
This Remnant has come out of Babylon, the spirit of the world,
So that she will not share in the sins of Babylon that are piled up to Heaven;
So that she will not share in the plagues
That God Almighty will pour out upon Babylon, like He did Egypt
In the days of Moses. (Revelation 18)

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
