The Earth Is the Lord's

Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord's and everything in it,

The world, and all who live in it;

For He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.

Christ Jesus is coming soon to reclaim the earth He created;

To eradicate sin from the earth and establish His Kingdom.

To have a proper perspective on this natural life we have been given

We need to remind ourselves that it was given to us by God.

Life, this natural life we experience, is a gift from God.

From the beginning God gave us a greater gift, Eternal LIFE;

A perfect LIFE that was conditioned on only one command;

“You must not eat from the Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil!”

Because the knowledge of evil causes humans to sin

And therefore to die.

Mankind was not designed to withstand the knowledge of evil.

They were designed perfectly, for a perfect environment, Paradise.

But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command,

And ate the fruit of the tree they discovered they were naked;

They had sinned against God and now they would die as God had said.

From that point forward in human history

Everyone is born with a sin nature; with the natural propensity to sin.

This is why Christ Jesus came.

He came to redeem those who would believe in Him;

To restore them to the perfect state of being they were designed for.

He came to restore them to Paradise, the Kingdom Of God;

Which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

This perfect state of being requires the character and nature of God.

Since only God possesses these attributes,

This could only be accomplished by God, the only LIFE,

The Spirit of LIFE, living in a human.

Therefore those who believe in Christ Jesus are born again.

They are reborn of the Spirit of God.

Their spirits that were dead in sin

Are brought to LIFE by the Spirit of God.

It is now Christ in them their hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

With Christ living in them

They are now more than a match for the evil one

Who came to steal from, kill and destroy mankind.

Those who believe,

Can do all things through Christ who strengthens them.

(Philippians 4:13)

Christ in us can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

According to His power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Christ Jesus promises:

'To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat

From The Tree Of LIFE, which is in the Paradise of God.'

(Revelation 2:7)

This is the full circle from death to LIFE,

Made possible by the grace of God alone.

All we have or can have is by the grace of God alone.

Heaven is ours, LIFE is ours, if we believe and obey our Creator, God.

If we believe Him, He gives us all He has to give.

We then belong to Him and He to us.

All he has, which is all there is, is ours

This is the magnificent grace of God.
