The Lord had said to Abram, 'Leave your country, your people
And your father's household and go to the land I will show you.
'I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you;
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And whoever curses you I will curse;
And all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.'
(Genesis 12:1-3 NIV)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law
By becoming a curse for us,
For it is written; 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.'
(Galatians 3:10)
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham
Might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus,
So that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life.
Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant
That has been duly established, so it is in this case.
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.
The Scripture does not say 'and to seeds,' meaning many people,
But 'and to your seed,' meaning one person, who is Christ.
(Galatians 3:14-16)
The promise, the blessing and the curse have been in effect
From the time it was given to Abraham to this present day.
All of human history is is a testament to this reality.
Whoever cursed Israel, the lineage of Abraham, were cursed by God
And whoever blessed them were blessed by God.
All the peoples of the earth were blessed by the Christ of God;
That is those who have received Him as the Christ of God.
Those who have rejected Him have been cursed.
The blessing and curse are in effect today in two aspects.
First whoever blesses or curses those in the lineage of Abraham,
That is the Jews and Israel,are under its edict.
Secondly, whoever curses those who belong to the “seed” of Abraham,
That is those who belong to the Christ of God, are also under its edict.
The evil one knows this and therefore Israel, Jews and Christians
Are the focus of his effort to steal, kill and destroy.
The reality of God's blessing and cursing are in the context of a world
That is currently under the control of the devil
Since the fall of Adam and Eve.
Since the “fall,” all of humanity has a “fallen” nature
That the devil exploits according to his will.
The only people not exploited by the devil
Are those who have receive Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior;
Cleansed by His blood, immersed in His Spirit;
Allowing Him to live in and through them,
Thereby, coming under His sovereign protection.
The reality of God's promise of blessing and curses are in effect today
And help explain what we see around us.
Today, whoever blesses Israel, the Jews, the lineage of Abraham,
Are blessed by God.
Those who curse them are cursed by God according to His promise.
Today, whoever blesses Christians (those who belong to Christ),
Are blessed by God.
Those who curse them are cursed by God according to His promise.
Also, to knowingly go against the Word of God is to curse God,
Which brings the curse of God.
This reality comes to its conclusion at The Battle Of Armageddon
Where all the nations of the earth come against Israel and Christ Jesus
And are completely defeated by the Christ of God
With the breath of His mouth and the splendor of His appearing.
The world is striving for a New World Order,
Under the deception of the evil one,
With the same objective that Nimrod had at the Tower of Babel.
Nimrod was a type of the Antichrist,
Who thought that he could supersede God, just as Satan did.
All of human history is the record of a world
Under the deception of the devil,
And the redemptive work of God and His Christ.
It simply comes to an end at the Time Of The END;
The “time” ordained by God where He puts an end to “Time,”
The Antichrist (the son of Satan) and the deception of the devil,
For the thousand years of the Millennium.
Then comes the judgment where God puts and end to sin,
The scourge of the earth;
He puts an end to the devil.
Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of LIFE
Are chosen to enjoy Heaven with Him.
