THE GREAT APOSTASY

 

The apostle Paul tells us about the Coming Apostasy

In 2 Thessalonians 2.

Once this Apostasy is Full,

As the Word of God describes it,

The Antichrist will be Revealed.

It occurs to me

That it may be nearly Full at this time.

The Nations that Once would have thought

Of themselves as Christian,

The European Nations and America,

Are No Longer Christian.

This Alone describes a Great Apostasy.

We then turn to the “Church” itself,

And many of them

Have Turned Away from the Word of God,

And accept the Abominations of the Culture:

Abortion, Homosexuality, Same-Sex Marriage,

Transgenderism and On and On.

The Great Apostasy,

And the Revealing of the Antichrist,

May be Closer than we might imagine.
