GOD ALONE IS GOOD

 

“No one is Good Except God Alone.”

(Mark 10:18, NIV)

Apart from God, Christ Jesus,

There is Nothing Good.

Everything Good is Contained

In Obedience to the Commands of Christ,

Prompted by the Indwelling Holy Spirit.

And that, made possible, only for those

Who have been Born Again,

Born of the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit Alone,

Can produce that which is Good.

That which Does Not Conform

To the Commands of Christ is Evil.

Mankind from the Fall of Adam and Eve

Have a Sin Nature,

And are therefore, Evil,

And Incapable of Doing Good.

Each of us is Born with a Sin Nature,

A Nature that Causes us to Sin.

In, and of Ourselves,

We are Incapable of Doing Good.

We live in a World Controlled by the Evil One;

A World Incapable

Of Doing that which is Good.

That is why Christ Jesus Came,

To Save those, who by Faith,

Would Believe, and Receive the Holy Spirit;

Who would be Born Again.
