Repenting can actually change your destiny.
If we look at the book of Jonah, God was going to destroy the people of Nineveh, but they repented, and God decided to save the whole city.
There may be a disaster hurtling towards you right now that you're unaware of which has been caused by your sin.
It may be prison, illness, or even death, but if you repent there's a chance God will save you from that.
The children of Israel sinned so badly and for so long that God sent them into captivity to be slaves in a foreign land.
If they had repented then God would have likely had mercy on them.
Repentance not only brings us back into right standing with God, it can also change our entire destiny.
