Our hope rests in the word of God,
For everything else is Passing Away.
When God implants his eternal and Living Word within our soul, the product of that word is also eternal.
Therefore, the new life that is being built up within us is an eternal life
That will endure beyond our time here on earth.
We receive this word first through the proclamation of the gospel,
The good news of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.
We continue in this word by attending to it daily
Because of God’s implanted word,
Our time here on earth is not a vanity,
But an opportunity for spiritual growth.
The greater we grow here,
The greater our reward in the world yet to come.
