A Great Awakening Is Happening in Arizona But There is A Problem...For the first time, we have clear signs that the Holy Spirit is preparing to pour out a massive spiritual harvest in Phoenix, AZ.
The hunger and openness to God we're encountering everywhere we go far eclipses anything we've witnessed before. Just one example - our team is hosting a Good News Rally this week for 500 homeless individuals within walking distance of our upcoming Gospel Tent meetings! And this is just the beginning - hundreds are already being saved and healed through our street outreach efforts. Thousands more are expected to attend the tent crusade. We are facing a spiritual crisis of epic proportions.If the meetings began today, the number of souls coming to Christ would vastly outnumber our workers - possibly 5 converts for every 1 volunteer! Jesus understood this kind of situation. He said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers" (Matthew 9:37–38).
We need hundreds more volunteers to enable those making decisions who need prayer to be helped. I cannot shake the compulsion to cry out for bold laborers to step up and help with this incredible harvest. Proverbs 10:5 warns, "He who sleeps during harvest brings shame to himself." What a tragedy it would be to lose even one precious soul due to a lack of workers!
