THIS IS LOVE

 

Love comes through

The Spirit of God Alone,

He is Love.

This is the Love

Shown by Christ Jesus

On the Cross of Calvary.

That is the love,

That Loves one’s Neighbor

As one’s Self

That Loves God,

With All one’s Heart, Soul,

Mind and Strength.

This Love is Selfless,

It is Patient and kind,

It does not Envy, it does not Boast,

It is not Proud, it is not Rude,

It is not Self-Seeking,

It is not easily Angered,

It Keeps No Record of Wrongs.

Love does not Delight in Evil

But Rejoices with the Truth.

It Always Protects, Always Trusts,

Always Hopes, Always Perseveres.

Love Never Fails.

Only through the Spirit of God

Can this Love be Expressed.

This is a Love,

That the World knows Nothing About.

This is the Love Christ Jesus

Has for His Bride;

A Portion of which,

He is Gathering in this Last Day.

This is the Love Christ’s Bride

Has for Christ Jesus.
