As “behavior that is Morally Justifiable or Right.”

Such Behavior is Characterized

By Accepted Standards of Morality, Justice, Virtue,

Or Uprightness.

The Bible’s Standard of Human Righteousness

Is God’s Own Perfection in Every Attribute,

Every Attitude, Every Behavior, and Every Word.

Thus, God’s Laws, as given in the Bible,

Both Describe His Own Character

And Constitute the Plumb Line

By which He Measures Human Righteousness.

All around us we see the Righteousness

That is Held in the Human Realm.

It is Faulty and Varies

According to each persons idea.

It leads to the Chaos and Confusion,

Strife and Contention

We Witness All Around us.

The Apostle Paul sums this up:

Since they Did Not think it Worthwhile

To Retain the Knowledge of God,

He Gave Them Over to a Depraved Mind,

To Do what Ought Not to be Done.

(Romans 1:28, NIV)

This is what we see All Around us, today.
